Liberty is a concept of political philosophy and identifies the condition in which an individual has the right to act according to his or her own will.

Freedom is the right to act according to ones will without
being held up by the power of others. From a philosophical point of view, it can be
defined as the capacity to determine your own choices. It can be defined negatively as an absence of subordination, servitude and constraint.

As written in wikipedia as point of reference, similar definition and kinda the same meaning. From the nagulas point of view the converge and mix into one.
Granted by whom? By the Egale that offers you a new life in a new body with the first breath you take, by the impersonal force of life. As long as you can
choose your own path in life since birth you are free, imprisonment comes when one makes one too many compromises.

Liber/liberatae was a man born free first word, the second a freed slave in the roman empire that is where Liberte/ freedom in french comes from.

Words are created for and by humans to communicate, to each other things, whatever they want, need ask and so on . When one intends consciously offers words
power but that is not easy and not many are able too. Language changes over ages that is not new, had changed ever since humans started using articulate sounds
to communicate thus meaning might change over ages of time. Yet the power used too intent is the same and can be used in any language.

Reality check Matrix fan: in order to live in this world you have to learn the tonal of your time, as it is otherwise you would not be able to survive. Taking
your freedom comes from knowing this, not so much focusing on what " da church" " da governement" " da religions" " da
media" says or does. It is not important to any warrior, what it is important is cleaning your tonal island and battle your own ego not the others.

Ahh yes. The modern Dictionary. Well, i did an etymological study on Liberty so if i could find where it came from. And consequently it led me to the latin version; Libertas. I found an interesting story about lbertas.
Symbols of Libertas
Libertas was associated with the pileus, commonly worn by the freed slave (emphasis added)[6]:

Among the Romans the cap of felt was the emblem of liberty. When a slave obtained his freedom he had his head shaved, and wore instead of his hair an undyed pileus (πίλεον λευκόν, Diodorus Siculus Exc. Leg. 22 p625, ed. Wess.; Plaut. Amphit. I.1.306; Persius, V.82). Hence the phrase servos ad pileum vocare is a summons to liberty, by which slaves were frequently called upon to take up arms with a promise of liberty (Liv. XXIV.32). The figure of Liberty on some of the coins of Antoninus Pius, struck A.D. 145, holds this cap in the right hand.[7]
Libertas was also recognized in ancient Rome by the rod (vindicta or festuca)[6], used ceremonially in the act of Manumissio vindicta, Latin for "Freedom by the Rod" (emphasis added):

The master brought his slave before the magistratus, and stated the grounds (causa) of the intended manumission. The
lictor of the magistratus laid a rod (festuca) on the head of the
slave, accompanied with certain formal words, in which he declared that
he was a free man ex Jure Quiritium, that is, "vindicavit in
libertatem." The master in the meantime held the slave, and after he
had pronounced the words "hunc hominem liberum volo," he turned him
round (momento turbinis exit Marcus Dama, Persius, Sat. V.78) and let
him go (emisit e manu, or misit manu, Plaut. Capt. II.3.48), whence the
general name of the act of manumission. The magistratus then declared
him to be free [...][8] One could, interpret that Liberty was granted to the slave. It is also interesting that Pileus is has to do witha  mushroom cap ( The mushroom would grant you freedom of mind)

Libertas i learned in school as liberatae a while ago same thing. As to the free citizens of the roman empire did you manage to find anything? They did not
exist all were slaves there. Just so you know ancient history was my favourite subject and Romania of today where i was born and the people in it are their
descendants roman empire history was mandatory to me.

The point is not who knows more history of the roman empire and the origin of words, it is why you insist on slavery so much? We are slaves to our own
prejudices and moral standards, not to another person. That is interesting no free people no where? Curious if all are slaves who teaches freedom the slave
owners?

I agree we are all slaves to our to our own prejudice and moral standards. I was simply pointing out the origin of the word. Of course we are not slaves to
any person. But that is not to say that there isn't a group of people wanting to enslave the entire world, who do have a great amount of influence. I will
spend the rest of my life paying debt to banks and interest, and no matter how much debt i pay off.. there will always be more. And i spend a lot of my energy
working for that money to pay off that debt, so that i can pay off more debt. Isn't that a form of slavery set up by a group of people? Isn't that the
same group of people who own companies that sell Ipods, movies, clothing and other things as distractions, So that I don't recognize their very
sophisticated form of slavery?

Eilias, why not pay off the debt you have now, and not get into more debt while you are doing that so that eventually you will be relatively debt free? It is
not undo-able is it? For instance , a friend who is in the 30's has no credit cards, student loan paid off or nearly so, bought an inexpensive house in a
poor neighborhood and it's nearly paid off, has a wood stove and doesn't use public utilities for heat, has no car, doesn't buy things that
aren't necessary unless they are very close to her heart, she is very good at managing her money and grows as much of her food as she can, she is a member
of freecycle, an internet group with many local chapters where members give away what they don't need or want anymore and in turn can get something they
need from other members and she is lucky to have a community of friends who help each other out as much as they can.

I mean get as free as you can from the debt chains if that is what you want, maybe you could lower your expenses enough to work only part time and spend the
larger part of your time doing what you love. Roomates are an option for reducing expenses, communes; explore your options before giving in to "there will
always be more(debt)". Yeah at this point in time there is always something you have to pay such as taxes, but you can reduce your debt and spending and
gain some freedom from this system.

Words can be used to decribe the world

or

Words can be used to create the world

There is more to words than communication.

Words of Power

Listen to yourself talk and hear what a world you create and you position in it.
