I read the book of the Eagle's gift and Florinda said to Carlos to inhale from the right shoulder towards the left shoulder, and exhale from left to right.
But in the Art of Dreaming, don Juan said to Carlos the opposite of what Florinda told him.
And can we recapitulate by being in a third person view? Seeing how the interaction went between ourselves and the other person?

The direction is not the issue. Neither is viewing situations from either the first or third person. The issue is to flood the tonal with information in order to detach ourselves from becoming too emotionally involved with the events we are reliving. It is in detachment that we pull back the energy invested in our memories and thus come closer to gaining the full totality of ourselves while still alive in the world.

A profound statement that begs repeating...

Thanks for telling me this. I actualy feel somewhat detached while reading your post.
I have a question that I wanted to ask last night, when CC wrote what you said in his book of Art of Dreaming, that people's malady is to know more than they should, how do we balance this out? By knowing without knowing?
Also, I have another question I wanted to ask last night too. Marta, the courier of the West in your group; how did she cope with the 3 other sorcerors? Was it because a sorceror doesn't get affected even with people surrounding her?

Information, IMO, is not primal enough to flood the attention and shift the awareness. Pure energy -power- IMO is! Which is why all emphasis should be placed on breathing powerfully and fully with the head movement durring the recap. We relive our lives as we recap and flood these memories with powerful vital life force to replace any feelings we, IMO, otherwise might have.
Interesting to note than in kundalini yoga we do many recapping-like exercises and often chant a sanskrit word or syllable with each head turn.
