Shifting

All the party will have to learn how to shift their assemblage point. You can start like this: Close your eyes and feel with your hands the luminous sphere around you. A nagual/warrior can feel their sphere (egg), once you can feel it you can next locate the assemblage point on your sphere. Its in front about midway down. Once you feel with your fingers the point that is where you memorize its location and use it with intent to shift and use your power. All the nagual party will have to be able to do this. Only when you can shift will we be able to go when we want pass the eagle when its time. The exercise can be done while lying down on your back on the ground. Extend your arms straight up. The sphere/bubble whatever you want to call it surrounds your body. It is invisible to the naked eye. It also is fluid and moves with the body. By using a sorcerer's intent one can begin to feel it on their finger tips. Feel it move. Is yours soft or does it have ridges? Everyone's a little different. Once you can feel it it becomes easier to connect with it. Some are actually hard to the touch and feel like marble even. Do this exercise alot. Once you can feel the sphere move up and down on it. Explore it. Midway down is the assemblage point. Here is the spot where your sphere connects with the world outside. This spot is where you focus on when you use intent or to absorb power. This is where you learn how to shift. Shifting is changing what the ap lets in. By using intent you manipulate the ap to what you want to do. Memorize the place on your sphere. The ap feels like a hole in the sphere (which it is). You will feel it like a little vacuum when your fingers touch it. A warriors party can at a prearranged time all shift at the same time and leave the world like DJ did with his party. The shift where one leaves the world is done by accessing the gate to death. With intent one uses their ap to shift to that gate, it materializes before them and they "step" into it thus leaving the world with their body. It all begins by learning to use the ap on your sphere.

Is there any danger of us accidentally shifting to an undesired spot while practicing this? If so, any advice on how to approach it. Or is it more something we can explore, experiment with without worrying too much about accidental shift?

There always is a possibility of accidental shifting but its all part of the experience of sorcery.

This might be premature.....as I read this post I have the same thought as when I read about this concept in Castaneda.    It is not a fear that will prevent me from continuing this path but it ultimately questions the seemingly one-sided goal of a warrior's party...the ability to leave the world at will, while keeping awareness.   I do believe that this is the ultimate feat of humanity, the ability to keep awareness when the energy body is flying past the Eagle.   However,  why is it our goal as a party to leave the world at a predetermined time.   Is it easier to maintain our awareness when we leave as a group?   Can't we use the warrior party as a tool to help each individual hold onto awareness when it is that indiviudal's natural death.    To me, it seems as if the group's ability to shift the ap together helps us when it is time for us to face that last dance, but by our selves.   Why do we need to cross with the entire party.   Can't we help each other hold onto the awareness without having to leave together?   I know with inner knowledge that the warrior party is the greatest gift that spirit has given us to accomplish this feat, but again I am hung up on the need to leave the world at the same time.   
As for this exercise, I will begin, as it is of great importance.

This group is loosely formed in the pattern of a warrior party. It is NOT the goal to leave at once as a party. It is a warrior party created to help each of us be able to shift pass the eagle and meet in the next world. In all likely hood I will go ahead of you here. I will form an intent with you here. Once I pass, I will dream with you here. When its your turn I will wait for you there.

I must add that if there was a world event with mass destruction and death for most I would seek the shift after securing those who would need me.

Shifting begins in an awake state by accessing the aps of the dreaming self.

I have tried this exercise in the past but tonight, I felt my luminous egg with a realness that I never had before.    I did not intent to do this, it just happened   I am sitting outside reading the art of dreaming.   The dreaming emissary is telling CC (again) about the relationship between the IBs......the shadows and the tunnels.     When I imagined this world, I could see it clearly.    It was layered on top of the tonal.    I could see both realities and how they are close to each other.   Both impersonal and predatory.    It was not scary.   I could see the homeostasis of the relationship(s).    I could see the IB world existing as a cell exists, with mitochondria (tunnels for energy) and ribosomes (movement in the cell).   It is no differnet at all....it is a different level.  Just as cells exist in our body, there are energetic connections and cells that are both larger and more complex then we can imangine.     The most wonderful thing about these visions, is the fact that I am dreaming awake.    My double is taking over when needed!  

So to make a long story short......when I was having these awake visions of the IB world....I reached out and felt my luminous egg.   It was a bit malleable and soft....and I could feel the vacuum around my AP.    I see the importance of practicing this technique to be able to shift our AP, which is key.

Dan, you posted this at 8:14pm my time, and I responded to you in my talent thread at 8:38pm, we both talk about luminous eggs...I had not read your post here till just now...(next day morning), but we both saw/felt the luminous eggs and posted about it last night. Nice!
