Meditation

I feel the same way about that sound; exactly, like downloading messages.

Anyone here wiggle their ears? I do a thing similar to the wiggling- tenses up and energizes the area around my temples empowering my brain- and this amazing roaring booms through my synapses.
Once years ago this wild giddy energy was in me and I could tense myself like that and I actually felt or heard air pressure squirt out my left ear with the sound akin to hundreds of buzzing bees condensced into one pocket!

In my view the buzzing is the energy that is all around you that you hear. I remember hearing it after a powerful
change in my life force.

Wolf,
Yes, that is it. The energy of the universe, of all, the sound of universe. Sound is a manifestation of energy.
Herba,
It does sound to me like a thousands of bugs buzzing togetherSmile! Exactly like that.

I saw a man in meditation yesterday, he was sitting on the floor and meditating.
He had a grey hair, and was about 40+something years old.
His hair was short and he was slim but strong.
He opened his eyes in one moment and looked me directly in the point between eyebrows. I felt a pressure there and his eyes were amazing!! They glowed silver-blue light. The color was like ice.
I could feel a power glowing out of that eyes.
The experience was strong and pleasant in a way.
I wonder who that was?

Herba,
Gabriel Cousens' Tree of Life Center is about an hour's drive from where we live. My wife just put on a Yoga Expo and Gabriel called us to see if he could teach at the Expo. We had already lined up enough teachers but we told him he could be a featured teacher next year. Maybe you and Honey could come?
Castor,
The man you saw in meditation sounds a lot like me.

The image was pretty strong, I could recognize the man I saw among many others.
If it was you Dreamster, then you have amazingly glowing eyes, and strong power within your energy body, but you also have strong string of calmness, wellbeing and kindness, but not the forced ones, but true ones.
The appearance of the man I saw was that he was strong inside, but nice and kind modern on the outfit, and though he didn't look like guru, or wore a long beard, he had some strange guiding line...like modern world guruSmile..
That is what I saw.
In few occasions before I saw men/women in meditation. Few times it was that Indian old man. In few occasion it was my med. teacher and there is a woman also occasionally. Each time I feel a strong link with someone, like a presence then a pressure between eyebrows.
Have you had experiences like that?

That's amazing dreamster!
I would like to go somewhere like the tree of life to do an extended spiritual fast. Alas, Cousens charges exorborant prices!
I await impatiently for the time when people will encourage one another to exist for free and pay them to breathe!
We will love to visit your yoga expo.

Herba,
I've also heard that Cousens charges too much, but when he comes to my wife's expo he will be affordable. Marcia charges $90 for the 2 day event or $20 per class.
Castor,
I've read that the pressure between the eyes is the opening of the 3rd eye. Once I was meditating and felt the pressure and it continued to build until I heard a snap in my forehead that sounded like a tree branch breaking. It actually scared me, but my astral vision got much stronger after that.

My dream is to have a foundation such as Gabriels open to the public but free of charge with an unlimited value. Sustained off organic farming with all organic sustainable buildings and solar power. This would be amazing and I would gladly teach yoga around the clock to every person! I would pay them by breathing.

yesterday i visited a free dissertation about meditation.
it includes 3 free meditationlessons.in the next week.
unfortunately i have to decide if ill visit the lessons or my kung fu training...hmhmhm.....i think i just decided for meditation ....but ill see.
what i wanted to mention is actually the energy in the room while th dissertation.
while waiting for the teacher i felt awake and quiet.
when the teacher entered the room i thought hes a powerful man.
he asked for a minute of silence before he would start..the room became quiet and the silence was so "loud" that i felt a strong pressure in my ears...i felt i was close to start a loud laughter, but i could stay calm.
then, while the dissertation, i was quite attentive and calm, (for my measure), but the first 30-45 minutes my stomache was exited. i was calm but my stomach was turnig around.
i guess there was an intresting energy and i should visit these free lessons, because i normally couldnt affort them...

meditation lesson was very nice,
in practice and intellektual...
the yogi-world view is in some points quite similar to the toltec.
the last to days my dreaming was more intense in comparison to the last weeks and months..
i think meditation increases my dreaming.

zz
unfortunately i realized that the free lessons are going on for three weeks, 2 days a week. but i dont want to leave my kungfu training for three weeks..so i hope i can continue with half the lessons...
ill see

ive read somewhere that there is aomething called dream yoga.
i thought about to ask my meditation teacher
but to day in meditation lesson he started talking about conscious dreaming. i did not now that yoga and meditation are really about that. he said a yogi is aware all the time, 24 hours a day, awake and asleep.
it was intresting.
he said if someone in our group should expire a conscious dream he should sing the mantra "aum" or "ohm" (or how ever you type that) and the dreamer will change the "world" in dreaming immediately.
has anybody ever done this??
how ever...since tonight i really feel somehow captured by this man...the way he looked at me after meditation made me feel like there is something absolutly important. i felt the need to practise meditaion impecable. or something like that
he said its important to visit the lessons and practise at home..if not we should leave because its not our time yet to do meditation....
i thought about to do it half, but since this night i want to do it good...
lets see...

wow...singing "AUM" before meditation is really increadible.i only reapeat "AUM" for about 10-15 minutes but afterward i feel so wonderfull quiet and i can shut down my thoughts much better...its relatively easy to meditate after singing AUM.
i couldnt beleave that it works that good...normally its exhausting and nearly painfull trying to enter inner silence singing AUM is soooooooooooooooooo helpfull for me
*impressed*

O yesSmile))I sing 'ohm' before every meditation..It is amazing how certain points inside you vibrate and how much is better meditation with singing 'ohm' before..
It is interesting, trying it in dreamingSmile). I did it spontaneously twice when I wrote how I did entire meditation program in dreaming.
I'm glad you like your meditation course! Just keep on with it. If it makes you feel good, joyful then it is a right thing to do.
All best,

if i recall it correctly then the way of the new seers to enter inner silence is INTENT and NOT DOING..but mainly Intent.
don juan said for him its not good to find the way to sorcery through rituals, because the ritual becomes too important and afterwards one is bound to the ritual....(right??)
i think about that because till today i couldnt manage to enter inner silence through intent. and now it seems to work so wonderfull with singing a mantra. i wondered if it once will work through intent though im accustom to singing that mantra.
i asked my self if i might get bounded to singing a mantra, what i think is not so good, or if its good because i can gain power through reaching inner silence. and that will bring me further and this way i will learn to use intent.
what do you think??

Hi,
Today, I'm going to an advanced meditation course for five days. It will be out of town, so I'll be off line.
I wish you all many dreaming, meditating and awareness expanding momentsSmile...

I'm back after five days of meditation and two days of silence in itSmile)...
It was amazing. It washed me out, entire stress, entire anxiety, fear, emotions, thoughts, all... I couldn't even imagine what could it be until I've been trough it.
We have been meditating for entire days (with brakes of course), and we have learned allot things, and have managed to reach inner silence, true self...whatever. We did it only in few occasions, but it was at least a glimpse of it.
Now I know where do I stream to, and what was that unexplainable feeling in meditation that occurs, and that sound also that we discussed already, and that feeling of knowing in dreaming. It is our selves, our true nature, linked with entire universe, with all that there is, with creation itself, with that infinite energy, nagual... We are part of it and our energy is everlasting in it.
It is amazing to consciously be a part of it at least for a momentSmile..
We can all go there, but with allot work; meditation, dreaming, opening, with releasing all thoughts, emotions, judgments that are suppressing us to progress and to spread into that infinity and finally to realize that infinity is you, you are part of it...

today while meditating.....its still not easy for me to shut up inner dialoque.....i had and insight, like all the years before i have the problem that i feel that its very important what my eyes are doing while meditating. even if theyre shut. i still havent found the right "position".
but today i somhow changed my eyes in a another way than i used to..and it felt much better..i was much more relaxed, i felt drifting away...it was like falling asleep...and than i knew...(god know how often i knew that before and forgot it) that meditation is more or less just trainig falling asleep aware...getting into the double

would you agree??
Reply

Oh yes...The feeling is very similar as sinking to sleep aware. Precisely.
Zitter,
just relax, don't force yourself. Whatever happenes during meditation is ok. If there is a bunch of thoughts it is ok, if threre is silence it is ok.
Don't worry about position, just sit to feel most comfortable you can.
