It is essentially the vision of the crumbling city made of stone where every stone and every speck of dust in every stone was alive, except not only has the city CRUMBLED, it has LIQUIFIED.  All the specks of dust are drops are water, and also fish, eating other fish, eating other fish.

"And one day we will die and our ashes will fly
From the aeroplane over the sea
But for now we are young let us lay in the sun
And count every beautiful thing we can see..."

It was unavoidable, but the dream has passed cleanly through all the hipster nostalgia for a time when distance used to matter and Oceans and Time could still separate us.  Before everyone you've ever met or ever will meet could be emailed, texted, or reached by plane in probably less than 12 hours.

We are currently passing through some ubiquitous surveillance and awaiting clearance from the all-seeing eyes, but if we can just hang on for a while I am just now beginning to see the outlines of a bright and optimistic1950s SciFi Utopia shining off in the distance (though in which country, I cannot yet say) and I just know, I just know we have a second chance to do it right this time.

To be honest, I don't know if we can make it there still all in one piece, but I'll do the best I can and please remain calm as we ground ourselves for mid-flight refueling and scheduled maintenance.

Use caution when interacting with local wildlife.  Please enjoy the complimentary refreshments and entertainment, but continue to monitor all official frequencies as you await further instructions.

So then of course THIS happens.  I won't try to explain, no one can ever explain, it just keeps happening and we just keep making movies about it.

The situation is under control.  Please.  Keep Calm and Carry On.  Normal operations will resume momentarily.

Ok THAT was not as planned.

I mean, I guess I could be clever but I wasn't in the mood. That and these convos recently have been really underwhelming.

I liked you better when you were arrogant and confident. The banter was better.

I want you to know that if this particular narrative is just a private and possibly delusional fantasy I'm working on that potentially means nothing to you at all, and you're just on the outside looking in on this, that's totally ok with me.

I had made it work, see?  Fighter jets, right?  Fire.  War.  I asked you to end it.  But how do things end?  They end in death.  "That was not according to plan.", a track called "Dirty Epic", by an old school British electronic band that popped into my head and that I thought was highly evocative the mood I was looking for, and even if no one listens to it it's ok, the band is called "Underworld" and you can see the intention at a glance.  Also "Epic", because the story keeps going.  It's a whole bit that I am doing.

It should have gone Earth -> Water -> Fire -> Air -> Space because that's the order of the first five chakras which also correspond to the five syllables of Namah Shivaya, as in "Aum Namah Shivaya" because, again, this is a whole bit that I am doing here.

It was actually just starting to get good, because FIRE didn't turn into air properly, something malfunctioned, and now I'm breaking the fourth wall obviously.

Actually from my end, I think it exceeded expectations and I enjoyed it quite a lot.

You're maybe thinking, "well why didn't he just say so in the first place?"

But that would have ruined the experiment, the whole point is you're supposed to have REAL clairvoyant powers or something and by playing it off you blind I was trying to test the validity of the model.

I mean, after water DAY I woke up KNOWING it was fire day, and not sure how that would play out, and you threw some angry underground hip hip at me and I just went with it.

Also this is probably is still the underworld, because probably breaking the fourth wall on EVERY dream is just the status quo in the underworld.

Also I have no idea how we ended up in Ludacris's sex room with Nicki Minaj watching, I just have no idea.  If you weren't into that I'm sorry, these things just happen.  It's the internet, you go into a trance and click around and it's just not that many clicks before now you're in a sex room.  It just happens, it's like 40% of the internet now.

Anyway, this is the kind of thing you missed out on:

I believe that more or less the precise place the dream crashed and burned was here:

Also just for the record I thought the Taylor Swift video where she's kicked out of a skyscraper window after being betrayed by her partner in crime, crashes into a car and dies, but instead of dying is sucked downwards into some kind of underground alien laboratory where her body and soul are reconstructed was pretty good.  I don't suppose you even noticed, I think your interest was somewhere else by then.

And just saying, I would actually LIKE to get out of the underworld and keep trying to found The Beautiful City.

And I'm just saying, it's not like I want to, but if in the ordinary course of business that means going to Mars to fight Capitalism, well then anything is possible.

Also this song has been kicking my head in for the last 2 or 3 days so I might as well just go for it.

It's the underworld, it's dark, everything is upside down, we are the painters and not the things painted and there is no paint and even if there is nothing left anymore for it to stick to.  Colorless dark night of the soul.  This is fact not fiction for the first time in years.

Ah, ok, yeah. I see that perspective. I suppose it's a valid perspective. Wow. What a strange inner world you're experiencing and expressing. It almost feels depressing.

I find life always gives ample opportunity to do well by others. We've reached this point by the accumulation of choices we've made over a lifetime and it's important to stand by those choices. We manifest our outcome by how we wield our will. Do we look out for others or ourselves? What motivates us? Do we build others up for them, or do we do it for our benefit? All these insignificant choices lead us to a significant outcome.

The beauty of life. God is always watching His children.

I've said all I've intended to say. The rest is up to you to assume and use your imagination. The fact you required being addressed should make it clear where you stand in the grand design.

Someone asked me why I'm back. This was it. To deliver the judgment in a court of law of unimaginable proportions.

We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. In God We Trust.

There's a story about the Greek philosopher Thales, when he was called to appear before the court for, from his perspective, kind of a stupid reason.  He didn't have a lot of faith in the kind of justice system they had in his city at the time.

And he addressed the court, "You think you are to judge me.  But really it I who am here judging you."
