The Double

Have any of you had experiences with your Dreaming Double?


You arrive there through Dreaming.

Don Gennaro tells Carlitos about this in Tales of Power.


Where he would see himself sleeping and almost drop his pants when finding himself asleep!


I would love to hear anything about experiences with your double.


I myself have not, but there is something distantly familiar about the Double to me.

There is two separate meanings to this reference Docta in my humble opinion. When one leaves their body in dreaming they may see their physical body lying in
bed and they are essentially their "double" in that there is a dreaming body. However, the dreamer and his body are the same and there is no actual
double in this context.


Another meaning is the double as in a separate self. It has its own agenda and even its own dreaming body in certain types of humans.


This double is the often referred to by Castaneda.
