Towards The Black Sun ....
#1
In the ..... "New members post here", -thread the topic of the 'void' came up, and I wondered if anybody else, besides myself, wanted to expand on it further ......
Quoting Doctor Green:
"EVERY act, thought, and feeling must bring us Power. Then, when we have become Power, by filling ourselves with it, we must encounter Death. If we survive this, we must take the step of consciously moving into the Nahual.... I mean moving our fully aware AP into the Void!!! In my tradition, this is known as the Black Sun".
You certainly don't beat around the bush Doctor Green .... getting straight to the point !
From SR Archives:
Quote:Teotihuacan / History, Philosophy & Spirit
The history of the Toltec culture at Teotihuacan is shrouded in mystery. It is speculated that around the year 500 AD the Toltec Naguals and all their parties had learned how to transmute, to go through the Black Sun to the place of creation. The entire culture is believed to have transmuted leaving the pyramids of Teotihuacan in overgrown abandonment until they were uncovered 500 years later( around 1000 AD) by the Aztecs.
The Aztec were ruthless warriors who in their time conquered much of Mexico. The Aztecs were attracted to the Pyramid and adopted them as their own. However, unlike the Toltecs, the Aztecs used their Power to control outside of themselves, instead of using Power to change ones own perception and action. They misunderstood the records of the Toltec teachings found at the pyramids and misused them. The Toltecs taught of the giving of the open heart to the Sun. Taking the lesson literally the Aztecs performed human sacrifice, offering the heart to the sun.
The teachings of the Toltecs of Teotihuacan reside in the place, in the stones. The ancient Naguals energetically fed teachings to the sacred places. We can perceive this energy and teachings when we are open to changing our perception out of the old dream. Some ascended Naguals chose to stay in this dream, in what can be perceived by seers and dreamers as an 'upper grid' above Teotihuacan. They witness, guide and support our renewed work at Teotihuacan.

Don't want to get all dark, gloomy & doomy or bring scary "stuff" into here ....... but.
It seems that if one is a Tantric or Shamanic practitioner .... "death's doorway" does come sometimes, but not as death, but rather like an ally.
It seems, that if we are intent on going "beyond-the-mind" .... i.e. intent on freeing our awareness energy (free and independent will) from the "dual entrapment" of the mind/world ... a path of "unification" starts to take place. An AP shift journey where we need to come into a balance of our own animal/spirit .... male/female .... life/death sides .... by synthesising, unifying these polar opposites......within ourselves.

Briefly here met an Aboriginal Elder like that .... a person who had become into a balance between the said polarities within himself, and this made him such a powerful person within, you could feel it. It was as though he had conquered all his own inner fears and become "at-one" with himself and his world ... by becoming zero .... therefore he could turn into anything at any time, he was totally unpredictable i.e. he no longer was bound by any standards of ordinary conventions.
To meet an integrated person like that, is a bit like facing one's own, unspoken ... worst fears .... (fears which we however usually project onto that other person).

****************************************************
Somebody had written that meditation is like deep sea diving. Sooner or later you are going to meet up with some offbeat lookin' critters. The point being, that wherever you go there you are.
The same thing can be said about AP shifts .... wherever you go, there you are. AP shifts not being dangerous per se, but the situation can potentially become dangerous if the mind cannot accept what is happening as real and starts fighting the AP shift .... or alternatively the mind can get too morbidly obsessed, thus freezing the flow of the situation .....
This said "death's doorway" seems to be one of the AP's our awareness in Spirit Guidance ...can shift into ....on this "unification path".
When death becomes imminent, the presence of "blackness" comes and surrounds or covers us like a black cloak. Immense, excruciating pressure is felt on our AP .... really putting one "on the spot."
So if this happens, best just take the situation for real and accept it as your ground of awareness, relaxing into it just living with it, curiously watching the flow ..... because soon something else starts to happen ..... that "blackness" turning into a kind of an ecstasy (ex-statis = "to stand outside of oneself") .... awareness a bit like a "witness on wings" or a "witness to unfoldment" .... where one becomes the dance and the tuneless tune of the Universe as well as total stillness (a zero point) .... and "radiance" starts to "sing" or shine through everything, communicating direct inner knowing (beyond mind's dual interpretations) & the feeling also being like the whole Universe had become synchronistic all at once ....
In regards to Buddhist understanding about black awareness grounds ....
Quote:Black signifies the primordial darkness in Buddhism. In the realm where it is dark, because there is no light reflected, there is a sound which we cannot hear as it is so high on the scale of harmonics that it is inaccessible to the hearing capacity of any physical being. The wonders of creation may be manifested through the gradual slowing down of vibrations. The darkness becomes light, the shadows colors, the colors sound, and sound creates form.
Black is the color of hate, transmuted by the alchemy of wisdom into the ultimate-reality-perfection wisdom. It is not that darkness is the absolute; the void is not nothingness. Darkness represents the imminence of the absolute, the threshold of experience. The absolute itself is rather the clear-light transparency within which all relative forms and vulnerable living things are sustained. But the dark connotes death, which enlightenment converts into the Body of Truth.
In a way I see this kind of "death's doorway" AP as a "portal" ... as a "place", where one discovers and "attains" (by attaining nothing) ..."The Primordial State of Eternity" .... by being hit by life and death simultaneously ( black void and luminosity/clear light radiating out of that void i.e. the "tune").
This AP ... "portal state", also seems to be ... a "place", where we can turn our emptiness (zero point) or inner purity into fire of passion, passion which in no time burns away all one's "Karma", because of the intensity of the AP being on that "spot" ....( where there is no way of sustaining that AP than being absolutely impeccably nothing, yet thus being everything at the same time).
Also at this "spot" it seems, one can literally "light up" all one's multidimensional "bodies" by awareness light.
**********************
This being such a looooooooooooong story of a brief AP shift I had a year and a half ago .... which has left me in a bitava "limbo" .... not quite daring to attempt to repeat the shift and move forward, but then not finding any other alternative directions either ....
**********************
Does your "Journey into The Black Sun" relate to this kind of AP shift story Doctor Green ?
Anybody else ?

Artnwere & All,
In my understanding of things, the void refers to being void of ego. The journey into the void requires me to change my identification from myself as this individual physical body to myself as the whole process of Universal Being.

Hi Artnwere,
I can certainly understand your hesitation to avoid the shift you spoke of....; I have had the same feelings! I have been confronted with the task of entering the Black Sun for about a year. My guide, Quetzal Ocelotl, has given me a task of becoming adept at healing with an ancient method. I have mastered this method and have provided much help to those in need. I finally understand now that this task was designed to help me recapitulate the fears that prevent me from 'taking the leap'! Honestly, I really didn't think he could manipulate me! Humbly, I now realize that nearly all my fears preventing me from taking this step are gone and it will happen sometime soon.
Regarding your descriptions of this act, I must respond with a metaphor. We are trying to enlighten others with descriptive words. Words are much like a coffee cup! Imagine a clear glass coffee cup. It contains black coffee. The cup carries the coffee. One can see clearly through it and view the black coffee. The cup proudly proclaims to all that it is a 'cup of coffee'. Yet there are absolutely no similarities between the cup and the black coffee it carries!
Words are the carrier of the description of any particular item or event. Like the cup, there are no similarities between the description and the event! By their very nature, words lie. They cannot convey that which they describe. Try describing what a peach tastes like.
I appreciate the valliant attempts by Miguel and others. When one enters the Black Sun, one is stripped of all identity. That can be vocalized. The experience cannot.
Regarding Death, it is my experience that this force is omnipresent, much like the Nahual. As we become attuned to our own energetic bubble, it can be felt, pressuring us. Death can be our greatest Ally, in that we can wield the greatest power of these lower realms once we embrace it! Can we escape it??? I will say that we can retain the "Integrity" of our awareness if we bypass the Eagle. We will not be the individual we are in this moment, but we will be aware of ourselves as a drop in the ocean of life... with fully activated potentials!

Dreamster, I think you said it .... in a nutshell !
Even though a word or a concept can only ever be a "finger pointing at the moon and never the moon itself" ..... still; - what you wrote here Doktor Green, leads me into silence .... tasting the ring of truth of your words ....
Quote:Regarding Death, it is my experience that this force is omnipresent, much like the Nahual. As we become attuned to our own energetic bubble, it can be felt, pressuring us. Does "bypassing the Eagle" mean, that when Death as an Ally comes and the pressure of "blackness" ... (like having thousands of eyes upon one) .... is felt ...... it in turn forces one to enter more fully into "Third Attention"..... ( )
And as we begin to enter more fully into the said "Third Attention" and we start losing the sense of "I" as the primary reference point to our awareness (in the scheme of things) ...... then it is as though an inner Eye starts to open instead..... thus like replacing the "I".
Though this Eye is difficult to locate .....it is both inner and outer; - yet neither.
*************************
One Buddhist teacher once said; - quote:
"It is not a matter of getting in or out of things, it is the doorway itself that is important, because that is where the energy (or power) ...... is".
I suppose, this is my intent, to fully dare to shift my AP to that "doorway" of life & death ....void & manifestation .... time & timelessness .... and witness all the marvels and the power this "Third Attention" unfolds to the said "Eye" ..... whilst still alive .....
Which is like living on the "Razor's Edge" ... balancing between terror and ecstasy ... not getting "high" or "drunk on Cosmic", but not "freaking out" either ....

You said:

The "Eagle" is the metaphorical name for the center and source of all. I may be singing to the choir here, but we, as a collection of illuminated fibers, manifest for the purpose of expanding the ever-growing awareness of the Source... the Eagle. We are but fibers in the cloth of God. When the 'rolling force'(death) finally cracks the egg, the average human on this orb collects all awareness into a globe about like a soccer ball. This ball emerges from the most open center (chakra) and is drawn like a moth to the Eagle to be consumed.
For the few that are actively functioning as the Third Attention, the process is similar up to the consumation. These exalted entities have a much greater value to the Eagle and are allowed to retain an awareness of self. The function for them is to gather and propagate awareness for the Source.
The pressure I spoke of is the constant attack of death. Like standing in the ocean and feeling the never-ending waves. Once embraced, the attack is no longer felt. All life is then guided by death; not the "fear of death",... but the "power of death". You see, once embraced, he cannot claim you! You belong to the Eagle and death can only serve you. Being guided by death is like flowing water. Effortless. Speed. Sureness. Avoiding or overwhelming resistance.
You have a noble and worthy goal. Intent is all we really have. We must nuture it like a baby sprout with care and attention. It will grow in service to the Eagle. For the Standing Mother,
DG

Words can be healing tools as well, Doktor Green, and as such .... you also seem to know how to use them.

In my culture The World Tree, The World Pole or the World Mountain is the Central Source and The Eagle sits on the top of that "World Pole". Thunderbird/Eagle being the Power Symbol of that Source. Raven in turn is said to be The Eagle's helper.
But this is not here nor there, for I do know what you mean Dok.
Quoting you:

Brilliant !

But then again to the Shamanic practitioners Death may also come as an "Initiation". The Thunderbird/Eagle descents on one & swallows one up into the 'Void', only to spit or **** one back into the body again ...... "rearranged". This happened, when I was 23.
After that, lived impeccably "according to my death", but after a while a second death started to loom about. This time the symbol of the force-field "hovering" was The Dragon .... beckoning me to invite it upon myself.
I sensed that it was a symbol some people had known about ... in the past .... but it was as if these people had passed onto some other realm (?) ..... leaving me behind to deal with the Dragon.
I had already died !!! ... giving my whole life to "The-Essence-Awareness" .... so what was this Dragon business about ?
I felt that if I would yield to it, it would have been like dissolving into the blue sky ..... (?).
Totally chickened out from that one & then tried to 'escape' the whole thing & live "normal life" .... though I never could anymore ....
And for a while there I did live in paranoia about the Dragon "zapping" me. In one of Castaneda's books the group is so frightened about crossing the bridge in this one town ....
I totally know how they felt !
Though now I do know, that the initiations "offered" can be postponed to a later date, when more ready.
I'm still wondering about that Dragon.
Did read somewhere .... some Shaman say, that "The Dragon" is just another one of the many "Initiation Deaths" that can occur .....
Does your tradition talk about The Dragon DG ? And if so ...... What ?
Do the colours red and white mean anything to you in regards to The Dragon ??????????

If I may inject here a more simple answer to the defining of void and the eagle.
First when you die your spirit leaves your organic body. It can do several things at this junction IF it has the intent and power. One is to follow the other dying spirits to that force we affectionately call the "eagle". This eagle will consume your awareness, after that happens we do not know what happens to you after that.
Second thing you can do is hang around avoiding the eagle and spend eternity as a disenbodied spirit.
The third thing you can do is to slip past the eagle/power and go behind the gate it guards into what Doktor Green called the "void". Warriors not liking the first two options will go for the third IF they have enough intent and power and luck!
Now as I am not a great typer I'll move on...

Started reading other material you had posted in Doktor Green .... and found this post: "The Spring Keeper". p222.ezboard.com/fsorcery...=204.topic
Very interesting ! Even though many of you have already discussed the topic, I would like to respond to that thread more in length.
Thank you Lone Wolf for mentioning the three choices in regards to the 'Void' and the 'Eagle', for this was was indeed my question about "The Dragon", whether it represented this third choice .... or at least the 'next step' towards it ......... ?????
Dreamster ..... Yes ! The Dragon seems to represent Great Power.
