Oho, yee of little faith!
Well, we have a posse, and it goes sumtin’ like this….
Begins with a 16 oz. steak‑with‑three‑eggs‑over‑easy‑double‑hash-browns‑and‑a-keg‑o beer breakfast.  Then, we’all sit down and tell the ID to shut the fu** up.  We have a sign propped up by my combat shotgun (for emphasis and ready at all times) that states, “Warrior Recapitulation in Progress!  Disturb Us and Painful Death to The Ass Talkers!”
Our emblem is a graphic depiction of don Juan’s head lanced on a pike, complete with dripping blood and dangling viscera.  The motto beneath the emblem is "RECAPITULATE!"
Those that dare utter a sound during the process are met with the rest of us shrieking, “You’re Your Personal History!  You’re a fake!  A fraud!  Nothing but personal history!  Shut the fu** up and die!  Lose your human form!  GET IT OUT!  RECAPITULATE!!”  Whoever’s within reach of the ass-talker usually clocks ‘m a time or two for good measure as well.
We don’t do no proper sittin’, (we’re usually in the position we passed out in the previous night,) head turnin’, chakra alignin’, tree huggin’, soulmate buttfu****, twiin flame strokin’, flyer minded gibberish path with heart bullshit, either.  We have hairy chests, (especially the women), loud farts, thick forearms, bad teeth, big mouths and swear like rude motherfu****! We wear T‑shirts that say "Mean people suck, nice people swallow and all self-proclaimed Naguals can kiss my sweet hairy ass!" We cause teen queens to get wet, pubescent boys to go limp,  and lil', ol' ladies to have heart attacks.
We ain’t no sissy new-agey warriors (Aka, tofu-fruitee warriors) that lead,  harmonize, interact on a global interpersonal ‘seeing’ level, unite with the Universe, nurture the Inner Child, babble about Love, Peace, Harmony and Naguals (instead of performing The Recapitulation), have that soft and repulsive mushy handshake, start babbling inanities before you even ask them a question, expect you to start babbling with them,  complain about  your manners when you refuse to listen to m’ and tell ‘m to go to hell, use terminology such as " Ubiquitous,” "Seeing," "Second Attention," and other Toltec pseudo‑terms, retro‑psychological terminological, idiotic and utterly meaningless bullshit, engage in fairy tales about Dreaming and IOBs, walk backwards with mirrors strapped to their heads, mind-fu** themselves worrying about which way the crows are flying, engage in pottery, yoga, gazing, staring at witches snatches, and, whine, complain, **** and moan about anything and everything on discussion groups.
Be aware of them and avoid them when possible! What they do is talk a lot (mostly about themselves,) defend their beliefs and never DO a damn thing!   Fruit‑Tofu Arm-Chair Warriors.  Puke.
We, on the other hand, are warriors and  scholars of the highest caliber!!!  We’re also  mean, insensitive, and arrogant sonsabitches!  We are a bad bone in your chicken soup ('cause we make ya’ choke.)
All in all, we’re pretty goddamn horrible.
Other than that, our recapping isn’t much different than anyone else’s.
Does it work?  Sure!  Yet...
If your desire is to experience transcendental bliss or supreme love or altered states of consciousness or awakened kundalini, or to qualify for heaven, or to become a Nagual, or to liberate all sentient beings, or simply to become the best dang person you can be, then rejoice!, you're in the right place - your current situation - the dream state - the dualistic universe.
However, if your interest is to cut the **** and figure out what's true, then you're in the wrong place and you've got a very messy fight ahead and there's no point in pretending otherwise.
The universe, spirit, whatever, will give us whatever we want.  That's how it works, even if we don't know it. It can't be otherwise. We don't have to be worthy, but we do have to know what it is that we want. We have to focus. Do that.
Write out your recap list and condense it down with actual recapitulation until you've reduced it to no-thing.  With desire, passsion and intent.
The most useful piece of learning for the uses of life is to unlearn what is untrue.
Our path can only be meandering and our life a blur until we do that.
If it’s the WarriorsWay, it’s through recapitulation, or not at all.

Our perception of time makes some things look permanent and other things look temporary, but in this dynamic ocean of being, everything is constantly swirling in and out of existence, just like a jar of water removed from the ocean, like anything we can think of - a mosquito, a mountain, a galaxy, a wo/man - all fluid and unforming.
A spark is born and dies in a split second, while the sun seeems to last forever, but if your time perception shifted in one direction, that spark might seem to last forever, like the sun.
Shift the other way and you could watch the sun flicker in and out of being like a spark.
Which is correct?  Both?  Neither?
We can make the same statement about spatial perception.  Shift one way and the sun is the size of a spark, go the other way and the spark seems to fill the universe.  I wasn't here a hundred years ago and I won't be here a hundred years from now, I'm just flickering in and out of being.  I was scooped up and I'll soon be poured back, so what's the truth of me?
"Who am I?"  That's the question.  If we want to know, find out.  Use Recapitulation and Death Awareness.  Think as hard as we possibly can.  Dare to be a fool.  Unchain ourselves from respectability.  Take an oath.  Declare war.
As brother Jed said:  "Burn it all.  Burn everything.  That's what real Zen [or Nagualism?] is about.  Nuke your life.  What gets destroyed was never yours in the first place."

I'm pulled to an older post...
Picture a grain of sand amidst hundreds of grains of sand. Take your time. You are watching attentively a small patch of white sand. The sun is high up. Your face is against the ground, practically touching it. Rest your chin on your fists. You are lying down, relaxed, unworried. Just admiring this small patch of white sand.
As you breath, the air that you exhale blows away some grains of sand. But not the one you're focused on. This shiny, diminutive grain is still there because you breathe carefully so that you won't blow it away. The sun is reflected upon one face of this tiny prism. It is a prism, you know? You would perhaps need a microscope to see this.  But, then again, perhaps you have imagination.
The intensity of your stare makes up for it. You can almost feel its prism-like quality. Some indefinite part of your body reaches out and caresses the fragile facets of this jewel.
You are dreaming-awake. Even if at a novice level, you are dreaming-awake. Then you realize that your whole life is but dreaming-awake an arbitrary dream. Why not explore other dreams? Why not?
Stand up. Your eyes must adjust to the light, because it has changed.  There is a bright on your eyes, like a thin shiny film, that filters the sunrays. The world has a dream-like quality for a brief moment.  The immensity of this desert in front of you almost makes you faint.  So many dunes, such a distant horizon, so many shades and lights.  So many grains of sand. Almost infinite. Go on, count them. Make some calculations.  "500 grains per cubic centimeter, 5,000,000 grains per cubic Meter, 5,000,000,000,000 grains per cubic kilometer..." Thousands of kilometers ahead of you...
But that's just on the surface. How deep is the desert? How many grains of sand are floating, invisible, in the air?
To avoid passing out, you look down towards the same grain of sand that you were focusing on. Another infinite number of atoms blow up right in your face. There's no relief in there.
And, then, you look up.

You are looking at dead stars. But time and space conspired against death. You are alive, and the definition of being alive could well be looking at living death, at dead life. You don't know. That light left its source thousands of years ago. Millions, perhaps. Were dinosaurs roaming the Earth and calling at the moon with their deep, strange voices? Was Earth even alive then?
The star died, but the light kept traveling through eons just so that you had a chance to lift your head and look at it. Can you be indifferent before such a powerful gift? That star lived and died just for you to look at its light. How long is your life? It's but a blink of that star life span. And, still, the star wasn't more important than you.
How many blades of grass will grow from your body when you die? How much light will travel from your body, that body made of pure energy, when you die? Which beings will look at your light and feed on it and wonder upon it when you are gone, after it travelled through that eternal loneliness for eons just to reach their own living light?
Look at your hands. Do you know why you can look at them? Because of the light. Not only the outer light reflected upon them, but the inner, sparkling light behind your eyes. You are living energy up to your last pore.
Count the stars. Don't be afraid. Humble yourself before the terrifying algebra of the universe. And, then, count the galaxies.  You have reached a second of inner silence. You are seeing. It's as simple as that.
And all the grains of sand, all the atoms, all the galaxies, are but one world in an infinite number of worlds. You can't perceive but a grain of sand amidst all the possible worlds. Still, your wildest fantasies can't grasp the whole grain of sand of your perception.
Everything you can think of, conceive, imagine, dream, long for, fear, is out there. And many more things.
This is Intent. It has to be.
There's no real or unreal. There is only perception. In a perceptual world one nagual is fake and the other is real. In another one, the opposite comes true. There's nothing to discuss, nothing to talk about, nothing to defend because reality, perception, has no limits.
It is infinite. Eternal.
So, how do you choose? A complete, full grown man or woman, also referred to as "warrior", must believe in something. It is but the human nature.
Every conceivable situation is a prism, a grain of sand, a diamond.  There's no real or unreal, only facets, only perception. Reality is what you perceive.
Again, how do you choose? All facets are essentially the same: just facets. How do you live? How do you find your true nature, your freedom?
Choose with your heart.
After all this, do you still want to come back to feeling self-important? To talk about yourself? To discuss "reality" and "truth"?  I certainly don't. I am beholding infinity, with my mouth open, in a grain of sand.
So alone, so free,
Enrique

Can i ask you a question!!!
What is warriorship?
raising hell "head on a stick" styling...(although technically speaking the "head on a stick" contest is seriously outdated.)
and recapitulation through oblivion is real trance party style.. i agree!
and huge amounts of fucked up ****, where everyones all fucked up.. is gonna give you lots of power which those trapped in social conditioning can never free!
But being more fucked up and hence more free of normal conditioning still is not warriorship!
your enhanced chakra freedom and self destruction in the winds of power..
is still massivly bolstered by power.. which those in the normal assemblage position are leaking everytime you claim your freedom in front of them!
what im saying is.. a lot of the power is there because other people dont claim it!
hence it can be seen as less like true power and more like energetic vampirism..
which is why old people dont like goths and punks and youth generations...
because on top of the fact they never claimed their power..
there is a tendency for them to lose even more around certain styles of those being REAL!
however an interesting point is made..
These "people" are still alive.. hence the nagual flows through their bodies on the levels you cannot be vampiric and hence keeps them alive!
Their deeper untouchable nature is something so central that it is sacrosanct because you share it equally!
I thoerise that much of castenedas stories of power are shallow tales of battles of power between surface awarnessess..
and that intrinsicly we are all untouchable at our core..
although few of us can "EXPRESS" with this core..
rather than simply surviving because of it!
warriorship is so destructive of the surface battles of both those who "win" and those who "lose" power in the GAME..
that eventually they are stalking wether they are OLD and BORING or YOUNG and full of REBELLION!
but you cannot free your central nature unless you are also able to realise where you are losing everything!
then maybe you can meet carnage the visigoth in the midst of his folly! by simply being a bit **** as a person!
central beings!

>>>Can i ask you a question!!!
Yes.
>>>What is warriorship?
A word, usually used to describe a process, a subjective consensus forming belief for the term ‘warrior’.  As this is a Toltec/Nagualism/Shamanism/Zen forum, apply appropriately.
For me, Warriorship is a process used to elicit a result.
“Belief” is the key, above.
Those who know me, often comment in regards to how I view beliefs:  “Kris, you’re always saying beliefs are stupid, etc., etc.”
What can I say, I’ve not made myself clear.
Let me touch on this briefly, as I’m out the door.

One can experience beliefs rather that living in or through them. In other words, the belief doesn’t run the show. What fascinates me about experience is that it is utterly unpredictable and mysterious. One can begin to see the myriad forces at play in our thoughts, bodies, actions etc. and beliefs are just part of those forces, not more or less important. In the practice of presence/awareness, belief is indeed an obstacle if it operates outside awareness because it tries to cement experience.
Make any sense?
I’m unsure what the rest of your post is pointing to.

Also Rosey, my initial post on recapping was a feeble attempt at humor.

It's an indulgence of mine to poke fun at all the cool words we use.

There is a method to my madness though...by looking at the words we use, this gives me an opportunity to understand and dis-mantle the little 'mini-beliefs' of each word, such as your example above, Warriorship.

Si?

my interpretation of warriorship!

is to do the opposite of a sorcerer!

the problems in humanity stem from resistance in the habitual position...

a sorcerer can free himself at will..

however i do not believe this is beneficial to the habitual position as a whole..

so the warrior.. uses his awareness to study the TORTURE the human assemblage creates in normal man and the same torture the sorcerer escapes through fluidity!

he chooses to find the thing every man fears.. wether normal man or sorcerer...

as such a warrior has a very painfull deathwish.. that has courage and honour attached...

at the end of the day.. the warrior is Worn out!

he has no pain left!

the sorcerer no matter how fluid has still spent the best part of his awareness escaping the same thing normal man tries but fails to do!

as such normal man and the sorcerer share the same common root...

and the warrior sees this.. and is a bridge between them!

a sorcerer witnessess power and beckons more of what he wants..

a normal man witnessess power and beckons more of what he wants..

a warrior witnessess power and asks to be destroyed today in ways no other in their right mind would ever request..

he asks to survive this power through sheer irony.. and begs that when he is empty of common desire..

the norrmal man and the sorcerer never intend to fail...

the warrior intends to fail.. and when he is done failing one way.. he fails another..

in the hope that oneday.. he will discover the secret door to universal truth..

and fail to prevent it from effecting him!

and as such become enlightened through subjecting himself to the infinite!
