Is there a devil?
#1
...or is it just a creation of the foreign installation?
I was reading scout1's post (yes I was lol), and he kept eluding to CC being a devil. Which got me wondering, is there really a devil, and a band of demons after people's souls?
To myself I find no evidence there is a devil. I accept there is a spirit, God if you will, but I do believe that this spirit and God, however you want to say, is unconcerned and rarely intervenes. I see IB's as interveing though. But I believe most religion to be a part of the FI (actually, close to all of it), and the teachings of a devil were to strike fear into the hearts of the masses. So for those who may or may not believe in a devil, what say you?
Thanks in advance.

There is a devil that goes by many titles in the world. The "adversary"  that long temps one away from the truth and than back to having a personal relationship with God.
Since before this world began"Lucifer" was a beautiful  and full of pride angel that brought rebellion against God in heaven and fell to this earth taking along one third of the angels. The mission was to plant seeds of corruptibility into this world's system of commerce,  government, education, and religion. We have inherited this cognitive system of behavior. The "adversary "seeks to conquer and divide subtlety inside close relationships and by larger scale all out war between nations.
Even Jesus was tempted by the devil in the desert before he started his ministry of teaching and healing with his disciples. Jesus and his disciples taught others to put on a new man with a new thought life and perception . John 3:16 represents the intent of God for Jesus. "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

I once read about a Hebrew version of Satan as working for God. I found this on Wiki that is probably from the same source I read about a year ago. What I find significant is that it does not view Satan as 'bad' but rather necessary and doing a job he will never get credit for and thus the best of all of us.

Talmud and other rabbinic sources

The Talmud mentions the Satan in many places. In all of these places, the Satan is an agent of God, and has no independent existence. Sometimes the Satan is conflated with various demons, such as Asmodai. At times there is even some sympathy for him. Commenting on the Book of Job, the rabbis express sympathy that his job was to "break the barrel but not spill any wine."

In Kabbalistic literature and its derivative, Hasidic literature, the Satan is seen as an agent of God whose job is to tempt one into sin, and then turn around and accuse the sinner on high. An additional understanding of Satan is from a parable to a prostitute who is hired by the King (God) to tempt his son (a Jew). The prostitute has to do the best she can to tempt the son; but deep down she hopes the son will pass the test. Similarly, Kabbalistic/Hasidic thought sees the Satan in the same situation. His job is to tempt us as best he can, and then turn around and accuse us; deep down, however, he hopes we will resist his blandishments.
And this correlates with a line from Mr Roboto, LOL... (sorry but I have to just go with the omens...I'm just the messenger here). Far be it from me to leave out a valid omen as odd as its correlates with Judaism, lets face it..it works.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

For doing the jobs that nobody wants to

And thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

For helping me escape

Just when I needed to

Thank you, thank you, thank you

I want to thank you

Please, thank you, oh"

Sympathy For The Devil

Translation in progress. Please wait...

Please allow me to introduce myself
Im a man of wealth and taste
Ive been around for a long, long year
Stole many a mans soul and faith
And I was round when jesus christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
I stuck around st. petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
I rode a tank
Held a generals rank
When the blitzkrieg raged
And the bodies stank
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah
I watched with glee
While your kings and queens
Fought for ten decades
For the gods they made
I shouted out,
Who killed the kennedys?
When after all
It was you and me
Let me please introduce myself
Im a man of wealth and taste
And I laid traps for troubadours
Who get killed before they reached bombay
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me lucifer
Cause Im in need of some restraint
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste, um yeah
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, um mean it, get down
Woo, who
Oh yeah, get on down
Oh yeah
Oh yeah!
Tell me baby, what's my name
Tell me honey, can ya guess my name
Tell me baby, what's my name
I tell you one time, you're to blame
Ooo, who
Ooo, who
Ooo, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Oh, yeah
What's me name
Tell me, baby, what's my name
Tell me, sweetie, what's my name
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Ooo, who, who
Oh, yeah

Since Saint Mick's song was the end theme of INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE, clearly and accurately, the devil is Lestat.  Any questions?

Lame. What that lyric is saying is similar, imo, to the famous Pogo comment: "We have met the enemy, and he is us"

I'll take a shot at it...the Devil is what we fear or hate most. The Devil is a tester. He can take any form, the form of a friend, lover, mother, father, brother, sister, stranger, animal, idea, song, location, action, non action.

people, especially sorcerers without vanquished FI are real mess. especially sorcerers (witches) are under this spell, they are doing sorcery thru FI

Its not that the wingmakers are evil as such...
what the particular inorganic beings of the wingmakers give access to is one of the seven mattercores of this age..
they are like the fingerprints on beakers and syringes belonging to fertility clinics and dna research...
If you imagine a scientist whos job it is to inject embryos ...
And imagine he is a peodophile or rapist in real life..
You can understanmd just how deep within the subconsious he wounds.. just by his particluar touch on creative science..
the wingmakers are a very powerful group of easterly visions thata re allied with the inorganic beings world in an easterly position.
But the real challeneg anyone who sees the material needs to cultivate is the jewel of forebearance..
basicly.. thats a skill of not allowing ALL your energy out in the same direction or at a constant pressure..
Instead discerning the best way to balance..
however they dont seem to do this.. and so the wingmakers representatives one arth are a bit crappy about clarity.

If you go below where the inorganic beings live, that is where you find the flyers as well as beings that are much nastier, and they look similar to what you would expect a devil to look like. At the very deepest inorganic level that can be reached, you will find the one in charge of all the inorganic beings. Believing in them is not important, seeing them for yourself is though, because it puts everything in perspective. Believing in things you are to lazy to see on your own is pointless. Any sorcerer that has at least crossed the second gate of dreaming can go see God, and you can ask him anything you want. But, if you can't be bothered to even cross the first gate of dreaming, your only options are to believe or disbelieve in that something you don't actually care about at all. Regular human beings can't dream their way to God even if they wanted to, but sorcerers can, which is why sorcerers don't need to believe in anything, since everything is available to them to witness firsthand.

Thanks in advance.Yes, definitely. Many, in fact.
And his greatest deception is to make men believe that he doesn't exist.
And dreamways is correct. Belief is over ridden by experience. When you become aware that there are demons, (many of whom live inside of people) they become aware that you are aware of them. It is a frightening experience. But it is no longer a question of belief. But then the belief becomes more important because we are unarmed being "just human" when compared to spiritual beings. But those who are with us are more powerful than those that be against us.
But as human beings we have the potential ability to be in communion with The Spirit which they do not have. That is why they hate us.
My teacher used to say that they do not give human beings that much attention until they begin to make progress spiritually. That is because they have you anyway.

Nice thought provoking responses from Dreamways and Bob May, the demons I see in people I define as flyers, flyers are demons as there is different kinds of demons I believe also. When I see them yes they are aware you see them thus you become their adversary.
