Tensegrity-battle against flyers?
#26
Fear is something to be overcome, I think.

Carlos running from a Jaguar is the fight flight response and is a good survival tool. but fear in other worlds leaves you open I think.

Don Juan said that fear is a "letting go.' A bad waste of energy, I think.

did not DJ mention something that fear is good for the body ? imo there are 2 kinds of fear,

one that originates from FI mind and one that originates from the body itself.

Yeah. seeitall, I do recall that. Bob May mentions the fight/ flight body reaction common to all animals. I am unsure about this . Maybe each emotion has
its uses under appropriate circumstances. I keep thinking about those old stories where in a crisis , people perform amazing feats, such as lifting a car off
a loved one. Fear, stress, purpose, dispassion, etc. Somehow they all fit together.

I don't doubt that people "break through a veil" in some instances. I only point out that it is a useful bodily function.

He also said that the Old Seers used fear and controlled it letting it out in small doses to entice inorganics.

Not my idea of fun, but useful to them.

I have no use for fear. (except as Carlos used it to run fast if I needed it)

Or maybe to warn me of impending danger.

I could be missing some important uses for it, but for the most part fear, embarassment, anger, jealosy, etc. are just more knots in my solar plexus that I
don't need.

Some people, on the other hand, travel the united states try out all of the different types of roller coasters. It's like a hobby for them.

Who am I to judge? More power to them. It's just not my cup of tea.

I have been trying to put my words together on this topic , for there positives and negatives of fear.

Certainly , some fear or fright is natural to this organism. It is a matter of survival , and greater awareness will make us more sensitive to its warning.
The problem seems to be in what I have seen called Semantic or psychological fear, ie: anxieties, or hatreds born of self-reflection. These are fears that have
no basis in sustaining life.

Don Juan teaches transcendence ; the warrior learns to overcome fear in the face of death by making a purposeful last stand , and to apply that to every action
of living . My take on that is , being mortal, there is no guarantee that we live one more second. Therefore be impeccable always. That is sort of like being
ready to meet Jesus , without the Biblical morbidity, perhaps

I think the morbidity is religious, not biblical. The idea that it might not be a very pleasant meeting.

Something positive did occur to me about fear, though. In spiritual things it can be a warning that an initiate is approaching something they are not ready
for. In that sense fear can be a healthy thing.

Lately I've looked at the Entire Old Testament as a "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE" sign. To say I am not ready for that yet is ok.

It takes some amount of re-wiring to safely touch on some of the higher powers.

There is a story in the book of Exodus where two guys are carrying the Ark of the Covenant by it's poles/handles. It is not permitted/allowed to touch the
actual ark. As they are carrying it, they stumble and the ark begins to tip. Another man runs up and grabs the Ark to right it. He is instantly killed.

Do you think that is because God is wrathful? Or that God was punishing that man for disobeying?

No, God is Power and the man was warned.

Later in the New Testament the veil that separates the Ark from the people is torn and the way is clear.

But even when it was unavailable, the warning was in place.

Fear in this case would have been a useful tool for the man who disregarded the warning.
