You see a contradiction because you fail to see that there is no way of a reaching a freedom-in-isolation. Everything and everyone is interconected. Beings are not free in that manner. They can only choose under what influence(s) they are. Those who choose Power/Spirit/God can, after a long struggle, become one with Power's Intent.
The "me, me, me" and "mine, mine, mine" are social in nature and makes us slaves of social schemes, regardless of how subtle it can be.
Naguals are prisoners of Power (they say it themselves) and they say they are free. My whole point here is saying that there is greater freedom available for those willing to pay the price in terms of nagual tasks and dissolution of self-importance.

As to comments concerning "Freedom" as a goal, in my opinion it has always sounded lofty and noble, but vaporous, since no one seems able to truly say, "Freedom from what?". The Freedom they are talking about, imo, is freedom from being stuck in human form, and that freedom will come soon enough.
You get a defense as a reflection, at any rate, since you live to defend your opinion. Personally I wouldn't care less. If you think I should just ignore you (as I sometimes do) feel free to say so. Sadly, that might be considered rude and this is not my forum.
In my forum you would be banned for life. lol

Nagual seership is an evolving path with unique insights. I just make it part of my yogic/zen/tao/tantric path. It's a great synergy of the Spirit.
There is no much to say really... yoga is about going beyond the goal of burning with the fire from within. It's about being one with the Spirit.
Meditation is the way.

He explains the purpose and means of Mahamudra Meditation (very similar to zen). It's simple than it sounds... like "going with the flow".
Worth reading, even if Osho wasn't the last word on spiritual development.
