Some exceptional practitioners such as Padmasambhava
and Vimalamitra are held to have realized the Great
Transferrence (Wylie 'pho ba chen po, pronounced Phowa Chenpo).
This is an advanced Phowa practice. The individual does not die at
all, but his or her physical body gradually disappears for an external
observer[30],
while being able to exist and abide wherever and whenever is pointed by
one's will. This sounds familiar to what DJM and his party did. I find it very interesting to have another account of the phenomena.
