Women have so many images to live up to. Certain body measurements, facial features, hair, skin, all external things you see plastered on billboards, magazines, TV, movies, night clubs, etc. It's true women are beautiful, and on the surface, some woman are very beautiful, very sexually attractive. What happens is these women become the ideal. Then we women as teens or even earlier long to be like these ideals, well, some of us do. I did, I didn't try too hard at it, was still a tomboy and not even close to being a model type, but I still liked and longed for that kind of attention I saw these woman get from men. This then can become like a reflection on our own appearance, and instead of feeling like a goddess in our own right, we feel we come up short in one way or another. This is not good to think this way. And men are not always helpful about it...sorry but they're not. Men sometimes tease us, ridicule us, or see our flaws...not all men, but enough. I know males like beautiful breasts, long legs, luscious lips...hey I like all those perfect male body parts. But there is a hidden treasure tucked in each of us. I wanted to post these few quotes from Don Juan Demarco, a true lover of all women. A woman-energizer (rather than womanizer). Perhaps some of you men know what he's talking about? And maybe just a portion of it can be taken...not to see all women this way, but most definitely the one you have chosen to be with, if that's the case.
And if you are wondering, what about the men? Well, I will probably make a post on them soon too. I confess I have tended to gravitate to the best looking men, and here I am suggesting to men to see the beauty in all women...so this is perhaps relevant for me to now consider the same. I will say there are some men who are not considered ideally good looking, but I see them that way...John Malkovich is one of them for example. My experience as a woman is, we want to love men with all our hearts, no strings attached, see all their beauty too, but its hard getting over our conditioning, as same as men. And also, sometimes we don't feel sexy or good enough and then give less of who we are as a result. But if we were to feel beauty within ourselves, it would be given outward very naturally.

I know love is a complicated topic, not everyone seeks it, and its one
of many aspects of life, thought this would be good to post though given
some recent discussions. The warrior's view sometimes holds that
relationships are traps, because they can ground us in the tonal. But I
believe we can turn our tendency to natural attraction into abstract affection, a sorcery maneuver, even if flesh is never touched.
This not only helps us overcome our conditioning, it gets more energy freed up. So you can love women up close or afar, or both, and woman can do the same. Transforming desire into power, beauty, and freedom.
