War is good for bringing out the primal brain to reach the evolved mind.  It teaches instinct.  Those who hold an advantage tend to think of war in more favorable terms. Similar to those who are quite evolved at chess tend to enjoy the game to a greater degree.  Life itself is much more enjoyable when seeing both sides of the coin.

On a sep topic, I've seen many revenge wars between people.  The best ones aren't malicious but revealing.  Instead of, "Imma kick your a**!" it's "Hahaha, let me show you a piece of the pie that you didn't buy."

The greatest evil allows evil to thrive, and that is when good people do nothing. However war is built on hatred and non-tolerance. Hatred is not a good thing. It leads to harm, and death. People are people no matter where we come from. We all have feelings just the same and we all love. That should be enough of a common ground to meet eye to eye with. I think all ways to peace should be exhausted before making war. What we need is love.
