Eagle Dance
#1
Yo soy lo que soy;
Eterno, inmortal, universal e infinito.
Y que así sea.

S.W
I am what I am.
To have faith in the beauty inside me, trust development.
In soft, I have strength.
Silently I walk with the Apus.
In peace I understand myself and the world.
I distance myself in conflicts.
In detachment, I am free.
In respect to all living beings, respect for myself.
The dedication in honor the courage within me.
Eternity have compassion on the nature of all things.
In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others.
In the freedom I have the power.
In my individuality, I express the force of nature within me.
In the service I give of what I have become.
I am what I am;
Eternal, immortal, universal and infinite.
And so be.

Beautiful picture and poem. Very conscious message of how approach to life should be.

Great pic! I know you called the thread Eagle Dance, but is that really an Eagle? Looks like a Condor to me, but I'm no avian expert. I like the poem too.

so a condor cannot portray an 'eagles' dance?

i didn't name the tonal picture and poem, i named its 'meaning', its feel, from my perception. this picture reminds me of when i was invited to dance an eagle dance with a medicine man, and when, also i have seen an eagle dancer, dance his dance and so, thats why i named it eagle dance...im not a literal person on the tonal, i live my dreaming world here...so i write from 'feeling' and that heightened state, not from accurate logical portrayal of what everyone else, can agree, that they see..

which was more accurate..neither...you see what you want, and i see what i want...did we have to agree...no...this is the tonal, but it does point out what i find every day...
that people still expect people, to conform and walk in their own world, in the fixed level of perception that a 'condor is a condor', and that cannot represent anything else, even though that has already been suggested by the title....you could have asked internally why i called it that, but it is often assumed that we made a mistake, and, our 'discrepancies' are pointed out...oh well..

im glad you enjoyed it anywaySmile

Sorry - I did not mean any offense. I actually did not even think about the type of bird it was, until after I read JJ's post....you definitely portrayed the meaning of the picture with the post. It does not matter if it is a condor....

no offence dan..i didnt take it that way. i found it interesting the literal and the perception thing..i felt only to express, not defend what had happened in this example...if it came across in any other way, then that was not my intent, just a lack of literal expression techniques (again).
it has been noted by others that i tend to have disjointed communication with others of differing perceptions..as i cannot seem to fully immerse myself in their world anymore..and express from such a place....however, i am working on it..x

Looks like the bird is happy on the shoulders of the man, rather than in some warm comfortable nest. Its really cute how he is nibbling the man's ear

not very long ago,  a raven came when i ate, set politely, i threw him a piece of  bread which he took  gracefully. few more ravens gathered, i threw each a piece, they didn't fight as raven would - each took his piece dignantly.

went indoors (the national library, at the university) - when i exited, something clutched into my hair above - it hurt! (little.) i threw it away - that was the raven, the first one! (recognized him somehow). i understood - he wanted my attention, and this was the fastest way.

was this connected to a previous incident? - few month earlier,  i saw a raven closed-eyed standing on a rock in a forest. he was extaordinarily beautiful - had some white dotted feathers, and intentful concentration - a shaman' i thought. i stopped, not to intrude, eventually surprised myself (inexpectability...) and did approach, forcing him to take off. the gaurdian raven cried loud - and for the rest of my time there (days? weeks?) he was following me all the time, warning at any of my moves.

yea, me too - hurt him a bit in order to get his attention (if i understand correctly what i did...)
i can tell you what was his ceremony (so to speak) was about:  the condition of earth.
what a bragging! but it's a true story.
