No Free Handouts :)

Let me introduce you to a beautiful soul. I love this man. I don't know him personally but I love what he represents. He's a writer, homesteader, farmer, and his day job is being a muggle. But he knows what's up. He knows about life. He knows that there's so much more to survival than meets the eye.

He inspires me. He's a reminder that there are still spiritual beings here on this planet. He's figured out the secret of life. The secret is love.

Here he's sharing his vast wisdom of love. Also why real growth doesn't involve handouts. Anything of value must be earned, wake up early, value your time, and transform negative attention to people you dislike into positive attention to those you love.

Oh he's spectacular.

I really like his bit on the valley peaks and dips. When we're at the top of the mountain it's windy and rocky. One must be careful Smile At the bottom, though it's more humble, it is also where the river and nutrients are in abundance.

What this means to me is to stay at the bottom, eat like every day is a buffet, and when necessary move to the peaks. When you're hungry move back down. When you're lonely move back down. When you're doing life wrong, move back down. The bottom is the safezone. The reset point. It's ok to be here.

I like the idea of having two homes. One up, with an intensely satisfying view that satisfies the appetite of the eyes. Then another at the bottom, to satisfy the appetite of the heart. Or stomach. I often mix the two up. Whatever, the bottom satisfies the needs of the area from the throat down. Tis more primitive and can include the root chakra energies.

We are complex beings. Our needs often includes both ends of the spectrum. We're like the mullet. Business in the front, party in the back.

Smile

The peaks satisfy the mind and the dips satisfy the heart. Be like the eagle and dive down for a meal, but nest up high. Swing both ways. Have your cake and eat it too. Life is your oyster. Have it all.

What if the goal isn't to scoot past the eagle, what if it's to take on the AP of it? Or did I just perverse a religious belief :/

"What if the goal isn't to scoot past the eagle, what if it's to take on the AP of it? Or did I just perverse a religious belief :/"  Weird... I had the same thought today...

I see the vid is quite long so I can't watch it today, but wanted to comment on that.

The idea of more homes... that is not a new one to me either Smile.

You weren't my intended audience for the video. So no reason to watch it except for curiosity Smile The video message was that people are rewarded by the level of work they invest in themselves. You put in a lot of work so naturally the message isn't relevant to your situation.

The point of the video is that I respect people who put in the work. It's a message that's relevant and no one gets a free pass. Everyone pays the piper Smile no freebies.

Cool you thought the same about the eagle. The eagle is very majestic. It can also be exceptionally lethal. It's a complex creature worthy of admiration. I thinks it's appropriate to also fear the eagle, but I think there's a lot of imbalance in vision to only see the eagle in one way. For example, instead of fearing it why not respect it. Fear comes from a lack of understanding. Respect means we understand the eagle is a worthy opponent, but outside of combat the eagle is likely softer in other capacities.

watched the vid, thnx for posting. I appreciated that Smile

Well, maybe I was not your intended audience, but it is coming at a good time for me. I am working on something that is just taking so much of my time. It is a nice reminded to keep at it and be more disciplined and not lose sight of my goal.

I imagine the eagle it as a majestic being that has a purpose. it just does what it was meant to do. One could also see it that allowing certain 'morsels' to escape is also what is was meant to do.
