The solo was nice, but needs to be cleaned up a bit. Still, I feel it should sound more like you and Vivaldi. It's difficult blending Vivaldi types of an effect with heavy metal. You left the rest of the track open for me to experiment with. I'm considering recording it into my new Tascam and playing some lead guitar overdubs. Actually, I'm a bit rusty. These new MMO background tracks are going to make all the difference. Still, in my rusty state I'm still pretty good...I think. Ha! No, I am! Really!! Right? Hmmmm.... Right now I am rather burnt out on electronic equipment. Found a problem with this Windows 7 Ultimate program and my friend Elias isn't answering his phone right now. He's getting ready to take another videotaped trip with his friends so I'd better get this problem fixed before he leaves. I'm curious. The only part that you played in that song was the lead break around the beginning? Also, I'm curious about that site where you uploaded the song. I have a Photobucket account. Can I upload songs like you did in my Photobucket account or do I need to use a service like the one you used? I just checked my Photobucket account and I don't see it saying that you can upload music. Only photos and videos. I'm going to consider that site where you shared your song. I have the site saved in my bookmarks. I don't know. I kind of feel inspired to start that song you shared right after your lead break, when it goes into the slow part. and play till the end of the song. Kind of... Feeling rather burnt out UPDATE: Got a hold of Elias. He recommended I do a disk check so that's what I'm a gonna do! Also, I opened an account and just downloaded the Mega Manager

Let's see if I got this right. My friend is a World Music DJ. He does this on the side and gets paid really well to do so. He sent me some fantastic tracks and this is one of those tracks. Let's see if it worked and properly uploaded:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XZR0HM3L UPDATE: I guess I can't figure it out or I'm only allowed one download every 24 hours or...? Oh well.... Guess I'll do a disk check on my computer and pass out 2nd UPDATE: Well, I'm back on my backup computer while my main computer is going through a disk check. Let's see if it will download to this computer 3rd UPDATE: Nope. Guess I did something wrong. Oh well....

I learned from Photobucket that they have a special copyright filter installed in their uploading programs. If you even try to install a video with a copyrighted musical soundtrack it sets off the filter and invalidates your upload...or something to that effect. I would imagine this Megaload company has that same type of filter.

From this angle you look a bit like DiMeola. Really great playing! The more I watch it the more I like it. I'm a tough person to please. I like this A LOT MORE than that Megadeth clip. Although I feel there is not enough of YOU in the recording; more of what makes YOU unique and, lets face it, we are ALL unique in one way or another. Most have their uniqueness buried under a pile of 'monkey see - monkey do' copy-cat **** After listening to this I felt that if you are going to play classical rock guitar the background should sound as acoustic as possible. I suddenly felt as though you would do well to consider using the company Music Minus One as guitar background music. It suddenly hit me like a bell!!! I went over there for the first time in my life and found fantastic background music to play along with Here is page one of the MMO guitar section: http://www.musicminusone.com/guitar-c-17.html Unless I trim it down, I'm about to make a $164.00 purchase From Jam with Carlos Santana (GREAT! JUST WHAT I WANTED) To Malmsteen, Yngwie - Best Of - Guitar Signature Licks (teaches you how to play his guitar lead licks & provides background tracks to play along with) To Guitar Method: Jazz-Rock Fusion To In Session with Jeff Beck To Ultimate Guitar Play-Along: The Rolling Stones - Guitar To Latin Styles For Guitar by Brian Chambouleyron (What's great about the above one is I can also record in original bass & drum parts to the songs) To Ultimate Guitar Play-Along, Volume 1: Led Zeppelin *Hey, I really shouldn't be spending this money. It's all YOUR FAULT!!!! Heck, I really want to play along with this. It's too labor intensive to record all the background myself. I can do it, but it's too much effort! Other musicians just can't seem to understand my musical vision. I'd rather play along with these background tracks than deal with other musicians UPDATE: Well, I just finalized the order. I'll probably hate myself in the morning ((( Fed Ex just delivered my package!! )))

I eventually intend to create
an original World Music dance version of Jingo But first I have to get better at guitar than I have ever been in my life That's what this MMO package is all about It sure is heavier than I expected!

How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb? 9,000.
1 to do it, and 8,999 to say how much better they could have done it.
11-29-2010, 12:01 AM
Is that a hint?
12-02-2010, 12:01 AM
well I won't be doing anything guitar for a little bit. my frets are wearing down causing some notes to buzzz or sound the higher note... sending it off to a luthier to have the frets filed and sanded.
