And this is errie...on the second set (LAPD vs Motorist Again P1) @ 2:12 you can hear someone (unidentified) whisper "good". These are all around creepy.

Wanted to share some of my thoughts on this. So it is the filter of perception being seen so clearly here... that is like a fogged up or distorted lens. That is the flyer. There is emotion and that blocks the ability to see clearly. In both episodes the motorists say the cop is rude. And taken at their word, its not hard to fathom a rude cop. Even seeing the cop in court and observing his behavior, one could still conclude he is just putting on a good act because he is in court and in fact is a tyrant in uniform. So, its not till the recordings are played that the lens is wiped clean for certain...at least for judge and audience. But the motorists still can't see it. Judge Judy tells them even, that they are just plain wrong in what they interpreted as reality, but they still cannot see it.
The other aspect in watching these types of shows is, a viewer could find it easy to dislike the motorists then. Maybe be aggravated at their stupidity, or selfishness, even if thats a mild case of aggravation. That is a distorted lens too, because as a well known Indian saying goes "until you walk a mile in a man's moccasins, you don't truly understand where he is coming from" or something like that. So the flyer is the filter, and just all around eerie to observe how it twists what can sometimes be so simple and apparent.
