My Notes from The Art of Dreaming book
#1
I am posting these notes really for myself as well as sharing, So far I am up to chapter 5, I have just read the first few pages today and off the top of my
head these things stand out so far from chapter one to where I am in the beginning of chapter 5 , and especially comparing notes with my ET research sort of.

first off he (don juan) discusses the onion layer theory, that each dimension is like a layer of an onion and we are stuck
with one layer with our current way of thinking and rationale and there are so many layers to be discovered or awakened indeed, that, I understand somewhat and
have seen a similar descriptions or explanations in ET research books.

he talks about the energy of souls or that souls are energy I also get that, the new term for me is "filaments" but
just plain "strands" works for me too.

he talks about dreaming and uses italics as in "dreams" and I am starting to think don juan is sort of talking
about astral travel or meditation in a sense, perhaps a little different but where my mind is right now cant help associating it.

he says being able to focus on things in your dreams is passing gate 1, the only thing I am confused about is when he says
dreaming does he mean awake like meditation or asleep or both or is it another way of saying meditation but he differentiates them somewhere in chapter
4.

he describes things that are not from this world or the dream world as "alien" which I am starting to think is not
far off the mark.

the assemblage point is usually arms legth from the back right shoulder, shaped like an egg or a circle, this I am trying to
wrap my mind around, when I figure out a good way to explain it to myself I will post it.

he says sorcerers have been around 3000 to 7000 years ago, which others in ET research say is about a couple of thousand years
after the time (people who describe) the destruction atlantis and lumeria happened, and coincidentally they also were in their prime of mastering the energy
spectrum within themselves.

an interesting fact is I have come to realize even in the descriptions of the most technologically advance civilizations that
possibly exist (which I have no doubts of), they still always seem to have shamans, starting to make serious sense to me!

thats it for now, I will start posting more stuff as I go, feel free to respond, but as I said, these are just notes for me to refer to later. and I do plan on
reading the book a few more times for it to really sink in and I still think 9 is the magic number based on my ET research, like 9 planets revolve around every
sun for example and I am sure many other things apply.
