How to become a New Seer.
#51
I would definitely advise my ally I mention is inorganic and been with me years before I ever heard of DJ and CC, Dreamways. I've known my share of inorganics over the years. I fully believe I exist today only from their involvement in my life.

Erased content because it came from a private forum.
My chief concern is that people honestly represent their intentions, whatever they are. I have a problem with those folks who jump on a forum only to advertise something, but don't have any interest in the topic of the forum other than using it as a marketing tool. I get that on my site all the time. I have to delete and ban new posters at least once a week. I call it "hijacking." The other type of misrepresentation is "trolling," where somebody will go on a site that they disagree with and post about how much more knowledgeable they are and how the theme of the forum is wrong. The first type of person is trying to make money and second one is just bored. Another type of unwelcome guest is the one who has a personal view on the forum topic which is so personally skewed that it is unacceptable, like going to a Christian site and claiming to be Jesus. These are the sorts of things which annoy me.

I have my own beliefs but I have no interest in convincing people that they are the correct path for them. I made nagual.yuku.com for people that are similar to me, so that they would have their own forum. I figure that other folks who are not quite down with my path may still enjoy reading some of the stuff, so as long as they don't hassle me then I let them hang out. I don't have any desire to change what path anyone is on here on sorcery.yuku.com, I just want to know what it really is and what it is not. Since you pointed out that you follow an inorganic guide, I would classify your path as "inorganic sorcery," or "traditional sorcery." It is not quite what I do but there is some overlap. My direction to IBs is "don't ever talk to me unless I ask you a question." They do not have permission to initiate any conversations or interactions with me whatsoever, but I still talk to them all the time.

I would prefer to be a member of something like a "wolf lineage," because it seems simple and down to Earth, not like my "chimera lineage," which is very strange. But, this is the lineage that is best for me, so I'll just have to deal with it. All lineages have a direction, as do all naguals, and the only reason that I am interested in anyone's direction is because the more specific they can be about it then the more "honest" they seem to me, even if I don't agree with their direction, I give them points for being clear about it.

I guess that in that context, I started out unaware that I was in the cage of black hand death defiers and escaped into pure nagualism.

Hi Ninth,

ninth octave wrote:

Last time I looked at some thing, some one-  no one could be so certain to know exactly what it was I was really seeing or hearing or believing for that matter. Old / new dreamers, old/new seers,  or an old /new testament mindset has always been about the inward journey and spiritual evolution  of man's perception.  It is a great wonder that two minds could even  fully see things exactly the same as a third mind could.  I am not your mind or thoughts, your seeing, your dreaming ,your visions or voice. There is freedom in this and also a real accountability for knowing it this way. It is a pure miracle when two or more are in perfect agreement and see it through the eons.

Mr 10:29
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

Mr 10:30
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Yes, it is a wonder. In the sense of miracle or sign or token.
To go from the under the Law to under Grace mentality is impossible with men. It is only accomplished by the Spirit. So the sign or signature is a "token" that you are on the correct track. Because the people you are surrounded by, sisters, brothers church members pastors, etc. will tell you you are wrong.
I remember leaving my old church and expecting to see many people who thought like me in other churches. I was sadly disappointed.
It took me a while to discover that the sisters and brothers were sometimes separated by hundreds or thousands of miles and sometimes hundreds or thousands of years. I found these brothers and sisters etc., in their writings. I still do.
I've met some too but not a "hundred fold." Yet!

You mentioned; "..spiritual evolution  of man's perception.." That is what it's about.
But we have to completely erase our hard drive to make that big of a change. To "unlearn what we thought we knew."
Don Juan told Carlos to leave everything and everyone he knew.
Jesus told his disciples to leave mother, father sister, etc, even to hate their own soul...
Abraham when he began his journey was told to leave his home in "Ur of the Chaldees" in order to go to a land "he knew not." Ur of the Chaldees translated means "Light of the Magicians." THAT is ALL of us. We are surrounded by magicians. Those who keep us bewitched. Those who keep us entangled in this world.
It is not that we hate them but we hate their influence. They don't even know they are doing it. We begin to erase the hard drive and they try to fill it with the old operating system and old programs.
To combat this we fill the new hard drive with promises, as the one mentioned above, and at the same time watch for tokens from the Spirit to confirm to us that we are on the correct path.

Dreamways,

You differentiate between, sorcery, inorganic sorcery, and pure
nagualism. I had never given a thought before in this direction and just
vaguely bunched every thing together under sorcery or nagualism. I find
these distinctions interesting could you expand on this or if you have
done so already elsewhere show me where. I mean if some thinks they are
into nagualism but really have more of an affinity for inorganic sorcery
and yet are unaware of the differences I imagine this would be very
helpful in clearing some confusion and speeding a person on a path that
matches their affinity in clarity.

Note: Dreamways was warned for posts he made last week and then continued to disrupt the forums and has been removed. Dreamways does have his own forum "Nagual" I believe where I'm sure he is available for further discussion Lex. I apologize for any disconnect in this thread based on the action.

"Once upon a time, an eagle’s egg was found by a farmer and mistaken
for a chicken egg. The egg was placed with the other eggs in the
incubator at the hen house.

Some weeks later that egg hatched. The baby eagle was raised as a
chicken with the other chicks. Along with his chicken peers, he was
taught to peck and scratch. He was made to scurry along the ground like
the other chickens. He was sternly warned against flying, because
chickens don’t really fly, they flutter and fall.

This eagle made a miserable chicken. He didn’t peck well. He hated
scurrying because he was always feeling clumsy and falling. He was
constantly hungry and irritable, because the chicken feed just couldn’t
seem to satisfy him. The other chickens found him disruptive and odd.

After years of struggling to be a normal chicken, this poor eagle’s
self esteem was pretty low. He hated himself. “Why am I so big, awkward
and different?” he often wondered, “Why can’t I be happy like all the
other chickens here?”

“Is this all there is to life?” he agonized, “Where’s the thrill? Where’s the flow?”

He began to do more and more disruptive things just to get a little
hit of excitement. He was starved for action and adventure – he
desperately craved in his heart that feeling of soaring – only he didn’t
even know what that was – so he tried to compensate by making his own
thrills around the chicken coop, causing drama and disturbances. Other
chickens called him selfish, disordered and a troublemaker. The poor
eagle took it all to heart, believed them and became depressed.

One day, high overhead the young eagle saw another eagle soaring in
the sky. It took his breath away. For a moment he felt a surge of
recognition. He felt something inside him stir. He felt more alive than
he had ever felt before.

In his excitement he told his family of chickens what he saw and how
he wanted to fly like that too. They scoffed at him. “Are you nuts?!”
“You’re dreaming.” “Get real. Chickens don’t fly.” “You are being
totally impractical.” “You can’t even cluck and scratch – and now you
think you can fly someday!?” the chickens chided. “When will you grow up
and join the pecking order of this chicken coop. Why can’t you be more
like your peers? What’s wrong with you?!”

The young eagle was shamed and disheartened. He felt hopeless and alone as he fell to sleep at night.

Days later, to his delight, he spotted the soaring bird and this time
it let out the cry of an eagle. The moment the young eagle raised by
chickens heard this cry something unexpected happened. His body lurched
uncontrollably – his entire being responded automatically to that
eagle’s majestic cry with a powerful eagle cry of his own. He was
astonished. “What just happened?!… Did that glorious sound come from me?
Chickens don’t make that sound! Only eagles do… Wait… Only eagles do!”

The young eagle, finally aware of what he truly was, for the first
time stretched out his wings and flew. Before he knew it he was soaring.
He was no longer imprisoned by the chicken coop, because he was no
longer imprisoned by the idea that he had to be a chicken. Nothing could
contain him anymore.

A chicken coop can only coop up chickens; it cannot stop an eagle from soaring – especially once they hear their call.

Have you heard your call?"

an eagle can imitate chickens for acceptance and survival, but one day the true nature is recognised within, and then, to be anything else is merely 'controlled folly' or purposeful shape shifting.

but chickens can evolve and become eagles, by dropping the internal constructs, becoming empty and free to choose to 'be' anything within infinite possibilities.

personally i prefer the freedom to chose in the moment which energy i embody...i prefer that to the perception of separatism.

There are some black sorcerers using nagualism to enhance their power, these sorcerers have lived for many centuries through their manipulation of their assemblage points.

And back to the topic...Are you a new seer? You're read the books, you visited the forums, you may even have had some damm good dreams but....what now? What am I? What value does this knowledge have for me in my life? You may live in a big city and there no secluded spots to look for power. How does one becomes a man or woman of knowledge living in a apartment in a large metropolitan area?

Interesting remark, Lonewolf.
It must be difficult to erase human history when one lives in an environment entirely man-made or man adapted. Also, I would say, and I believe DJ remarked on this, that, in such places, there are emanations from the concentration of humanity in such places , that make it difficult to hear one's inner voice from the Nagual.
This is kind of a question. As I continue to review Castana, I become more convinced that 'powers' are specific to individuals, although they exist within a 'system', which the books don't really outline.
The recent terrorism in Norway has given me opportunities to mention Nagual lessons, such as eliminating self importance, in other, more conventional forums.
In fact, I had a conversation with one such person that relates to us here. I will post it following this post. She is a journalist who has retreated to southern Mexico due to perceived dangers. Nothing like being unavailable to danger , if power allows it!

I finally found this. Had to go back to the original forum, can't find my own. Luckily, I remembered the general time when it happened.

This has to be read from bottom, where the first message is,  to top. It fed in to a discussion about Dr. Hawking, physics and his views on science and religion.

The violence which is so
evident in other parts of Mexico is absent here.  Thanks for your good thoughts and also your
input on dreams, shamanism and more.

Hi Janet

Hopefully, you have made a
genuine encounter. I know of people who have wandered Mexico for years to find
what you have found. I read that such encounters come, not by searching, but by
'a knock of the spirit'. You could have been turned away!

This American shamanism
claims a history of 10,000 years, back beyond the Olmecs, which flies in the
face of traditional anthropology!

Without mind and spirit, I
think even conventional medicine is useless.

I read that the life of
dreams is a 'second self' of a second reality.

I guess that this dream
body may be related to what are called ghostly events.

There is no proof to any
of this , of course; only individual experience, and acceptance.

Southern Mexico, from what
I hear, is more 'cohesive' than the north.

Tom Morello of the band
Rage Against the Machine has spent a bit of time there.

> The more connected
one becomes with one's dreams, the greater the likelihood that one will begin
to see them as real, not necessarily in the same way as waking life, but --this
is me speaking now--perhaps as a portal to a deeper reality. I went to see a
shaman recently here in Mexico. He told me he was going to turn into an eagle
and fly over my house at night to get a better look at what the health risk
might be.  There is an acceptance here
in the Yucatan of this as a reality...that people can and do do this.

Hawkeye..long time since I read new posts from you and as always they are thought provoking and interesting. I agree that there is a separate dreaming life which is lived by our 'double.' The world is a dangerous place no matter where you live and the line between sanity and insanity only exists in humanity perception. There are more killers out there most think for this world has many who live on the line between their upbringing and their personal demons.

These are great questions Wolf. I am addressing first the one about living in an apartment in a city because I have such experience. I lived in a city of around 120,000 for seven years and loved it overall because I had open, flexible AP friends and roommates there. Places of power were created by people and the quality of friendships with them. The community of soul(s) created openings for spirit to come in, also a large old beautiful elm tree at best friend's home and the wildish yard full of fruit trees, raspberries, naturally farmed vegetables, medicinal and edible "weeds", sways of longish grass and creeping charlie blossoms and beautifully painted front porch, kids swing, good music, dancing meditation, great conversation in our little home in the ghetto; the only neighborhood you might get away with letting beautiful wild yards be wild because the zone-ing board doesn't pay so much attention and the neighbors aren't worried about "devaluing" of their "property". Also, this city had great alleys and I spent long days foraging for wild foods there, peach trees hanging over backyard fences, garlic patches that crept their way outside of fence boundaries and the like. Good parks were there too, woodsy and hilly. I dropped out of the mainstream, worked just enough to divide rent with roommates(about 10 to 15 hours weekly) and spent not so much on vegetables plus dumpster dived for perfectly good food that the waster system throws away, didn't buy luxury items or items that some people might think they need like paper towels, chemical cleaners, and laundry soap(baking soda works pretty good). Didn't watch television or pay any mind to mainstream media, didn't have a phone, didn't own a car, no bank account; walked, biked, or bused where I needed to go--life for the most part without a clock, a devise that works hard at stabilizing most APs to HERD Hard Work with little reward and no time for quiet mind open heart spirit-connection.

I have lived in a more rural town since then for about five years and I find less power here because I haven't met such people here and there aren't many alleys or woodsy parks either. I visit often there and as soon as the time comes I will be living there or someplace similar once again. A rural homesteading community would also be nice.

What am I? I am less identified with my internal dialogue and habitual patterns than I once was, still self-stalking to lessen the hold they have on me, I observe or witness and sometimes a nice open space comes in. This knowledge+practice gives space for awe and magickk.

Thanks for the remarks, Lonewolf. I've had more time to blog this week.

I just wanted to mention that, as far as I know, 'Janet' knows nothing about Castaneda or the Nagual. She was from the LA area, but that's no guarantee she meet Cleargreen.

That made her remarks even more fascinating.

You spoke of environments. A few years in the Yucatan, for a US person,  is bound to shift the AP!

Seems like changing locations is a Nagual method of AP Shift.

in an ideal world

tiparet streams to earth unhindered and the realm of man and his physical body IS malkut!

The rose will flower and strike earth.

and it will grow a thorn and strike earth.

time will split into two!

the nanosecond next and the nanosecond just gone.

the human assemblage position global will sever itself partially from the tonal

people will dislocate their spines if they fart too hard or too quick

So a seer has to completely stop the internal dialogue?Or learn to control it?I read that this can be achieved with the Magical Passes or by mastering Dreaming.

Good question CRI, I would assume that yes, to "see" you would have to stop the internal dialog, but that would mean that you were controlling it(the internal dialog that is).  Magical Passes, hmmm, have not worked for me at all, but meditation and dreaming have.  Not to say that magical passes don't work, it is just that body/sensation is my weakest area, so it is not a strong practice for me.  Know your predilection, and use what is strongest.  I think the internal dialog is not something that stops, unless you have reached a permanent enlightened state, which some say does not exist(and I agree), it is a state that is constantly cultivated, even for the masters.  Just remember that to "see", you have to be willing to be bat **** crazy for a moment or a while, then you have to be able to use your intent, will, knowledge and grounding to pull yourself back and interpret it.  I think the seeing part is easy, I can do it, but to be able to interpret it accurately, that is the hard part.  You really do have to have your feet in two worlds to do this, but if you lose your footing, watch out.
