Stopping the world and seeing
#1
Is there anyone who has "stopped the world" and started to "see" energy of the world directly ? I.e. who has accomplished "stopping the world" ?

I stopped the world when I realized what the Earth is really doing to us.  We are being carried along by her dreaming and most people non lucidly go along with her energy flow.  When we dream with a higher being than the earth we dream with the beings that are dreaming the Earth instead.  For a moment we escape her relentless parsing of time into moments that are used by her creatures and enter the realm of beings that parse time for the earth.

I don't know of anyone who has accomplished this level of awareness/personal development. I suspect that it is not easy to put into words and also it may be that at that level, one is not inclined to want to engage discussion about it. If there are parties of practioners currently reaching such levels they are not revealing themselves on internet forums. There very well may be those who have stumbled into such a state of awareness and have been terrified by the experience, thinking it was some form of "insanity". I would love to hear stories of awareness adventure and am very glsd that forums such as this exist at all. I have found the Castaneda books to be a comfort in my life for the past 35 yrs. I have difficulty putting into words just what the nature of that comfort is. I just know I would be terribly lonely without it. I do not know anyone in my circle of friends/acquaintances who is as familiar with the "rule" as I am and I know lots of people.

Its not really hard to do. If you think it is, and have this far off perception of it, then it will be more difficult for you to attain, because you are intending it in this way. All it takes is awareness of what you believe, what you are aware of in reality, and then change it to something else. Your awareness is actively generating perception, this means right now, so change it right now, and see something else.

What I am saying is that you need to stop the world as to how you perceive stopping the world itself.

It took about 10 years for Carlos Castaneda to stop the the world and that was working Juan matus, I doubt any of us are working with someone like Juan and we all know how much time and effort we have on our own put in to walking the warriors path.

It took me about a week before I first stopped my world, and then I continued to do it on my own many times over. It depends on how much power you have, as well as the awareness you possess about yourself. If you have heavy expectations, (like not being able to do it easily) then you will undoubtedly fail, because that is your intent. If you intend the awareness that needs a helper like don Juan to aid you, then you project that intent, and that experience. it is your AWARENESS!!!!!!!!!! Think...what are you aware of?

hi lister.... the knowing of the rule, and the harmonious interchange within and without, for years can lead to a sense of isolation, if however you follow your alone, path of heart, impeccably you start to attract your connections, within the timing for the 'whole'. one day, they start to appear. to stay unconcerned at this point, from the expectation that this is 'it', allows you once again to be alone but know the constellation group around you, groups form and disperse all the time..allowing freedom within those who arrive, like gazing at them, rather than using a fixed attention, is indeed a marvel....groups arrive they are not created..like the intent for them has already been set...

the technology available, such as the internet allows us to find and be found, if we stand on our own point, finding ones own point, is a case of sitting in silence and acting through the urge of knowing, one now moment at a time...predilections, connections and fluidity become obvious

serloco..i do not 'think' about awareness..one is empty and then one senses awareness..i do not own it.... we may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse, of the known, in the expression of another, then we have to let it go again...

one develops the concept of will, only to have to learn the equal and opposite, the ability to allow the sea of awareness to dissolve us..intent is that sea...its already there, that cant be owned either, but you can become it.

littlepaw..silence and sensation, stops the world in a jiffy. i recommend the barry long videos ive posted in Modern Nagaualism...great tool for actually experiencing what it is...compared to thinking or feeling ..you might enjoy them

It is easy for me to think about my awareness, and then change it into something else. Not always easy but usually.

to think is to separate is it not Serloco?..why would you wish to do that..
self reflection is a form of concern.... a habit from the mind..right?

i had a realization on the position of the silent witness the other day..as i have used it a lot..it came to me that it was still separation, a form of concern and therefore self importance...working with aligning that to the other bodies.(shifting AP).so it is nothing also.

i have found since setting unbending intent on this, stuff has started to shift..dreaming of new places etc ..its very interesting..

if you try it..let me know your experiences, id be interested in them

My thoughts are very fluid and free. When I read that our thoughts sustain our world bytelling us what we already know, I decided to bend my intent, and so I intended that my mind shift to be able to support the reality I want to support. I direct my conscious thoughts through all types of channels, to and from many different sources. I use my thoughts as a tool. In my view thoughts are not different from consciousness itself, which can be called conscious awareness, which to me forms my thoughts. By observing my thoughts, I can observe my awareness that creates them. By directing my thoughts, I can direct my conscious awareness.

It takes separation to make something new, to procreate, to make new awareness. Creation itself is one, but it has split into every possible way, to create separate possibilities of potential. It has split into so many positions of awareness, and for the purpose of division, growth, expansion. It is necessary to split, and divide, so that awareness can reach new positions. However it is also necessary to merge, and unite with all the awareness that has split to find new awareness. If we did not separate then it would not spread to areas of the unknown, creating further from potential. Once we merge with the unknown, divided awareness, we are again one with it, and in the process have expanded, and grown through separation and reunification.

Going further in my explanation I eventually learned to guide my thoughts in connection with reality. So that my thought impulses actively align to form reality. For example I am listening to music and then I have the thought that she is singing directly to me, and then upon the activation of this thought my awareness connects to the music and it starts to reflect my awareness, and answer it. I call them active impulses, or realizations. Once I have one reality changes to the reflection of my thought or judgement. This is how I use my thoughts to direct reality.

The Smokey Mirror

Three thousand years ago, there was a human just like you and me who lived near a city surrounded by mountains. The human was studying to become a medicine man, to learn the knowledge of his ancestors, but he didn't completely agree with everything he was learning. In his heart, he felt there must be something more.

One day as he slept in a cave, he dreamed that he saw his own body sleeping. He came out of the cave on the night of the new moon. The sky was clear, and he could see millions of stars. Then something happened inside of him that transformed his life forever. He looked at his hands, he felt his body, and he heard his own voice say, "I am made of light; I am made of stars."

He looked at the stars again, and then he realized that it's not the stars that create light, but rather light that creates the stars. "Everything is made of light," he said, "and the space in-between isn't empty." And he knew that everything that exists is one living being, and that light is the messenger of life, because it is alive and contains all information.

Then he realized that although he was made of stars, he was not those stars. "I am in-between the stars," he thought. So he called the stars the tonal, and the light between the stars the nagual, and he knew that what created the harmony and peace between the two is Life or Intent. Without Life, the tonal and the nagual could not exist. Life is the force of the absolute, the supreme, the Creator who creates everything.

This is what he discovered; Everything in existence is a manifestation of the one living being we call God. Everything is God. And he came to the conclusion that human perception is merely light perceiving light. He also saw that matter is a mirror - everything is a mirror that reflects light and creates images of that light - and the world of illusion, the Dream, is just like the smoke which doesn't allow us to see what we really are. "The real us is pure "love", pure light," he said.

This realization changed his life. Once he knew what he really was, he looked around at other humans and the rest of nature, and he was amazed at what he saw. He saw himself in everything - in every human, in every animal, in every tree, in the water, in the rain, in the clouds, in the earth. And he saw that Life mixed the tonal and the nagual in different ways to create billions of manifestations of Life.

In those few moments he comprehended everything. He was very excited, and his heart filled with peace. He could hardly wait to tell his people what he had discovered. But there were no words to explain it. He tried to tell the others, but they could not understand. They could see that he had changed, that something beautiful was radiating from his eyes and his voice. They noticed that he no longer had judgement about anything or anyone. He was no longer like anyone else.

He could understand everyone very well, but no one could understand him. They believed that he was an incarnation of God, and he smiled when he heard this and he said, "It is true. I am God. But you are also God. We are the same, you and I. We are images of light. We are God." But still the people didn't understand him.

He had discovered that he was a mirror for the rest of the people, a mirror in which he could see himself. "Everyone is a mirror," he said. He saw himself in everyone, but nobody saw him as themselves. And he realized that everyone was dreaming, but without awareness, without knowing what they really are. They couldn't see him as themselves because there was a wall of fog or smoke between the mirrors. And that wall of fog was made by the interpretation of images of light - the Dream of humans.

Then he knew that he would soon forget all that he had learned. He wanted to remember all the visions he had had, so he decided to call himself the Smokey Mirror so that he would always know that matter is a mirror and the smoke in-between is what keeps us from knowing what we are. He said, "I am the Smokey Mirror, because I am looking at myself in all of you, but we don't recognize each other because of the smoke in-between us. That smoke is the Dream, and the mirror is you, the dreamer and you stalker, the reflection."

Miguel Ruiz - The Four Agreement  According to the First Scroll of Wen the Eternally Surprised, Wen stepped out of the cave where he had received enlightenment and into the dawning light of the first day of the rest of his life. He stared at the rising sun for some time, because he had never seen it before. He prodded with a sandal the dozing form of Clodpool the apprentice, and said: 'I have seen. Now I understand.' Then he stopped, and looked at the thing next to Clodpool. 'What is that amazing thing?' he said. 'Er ... er ... it's a tree, master,' said Clodpool, still not quite awake. 'Remember? It was there yesterday.''There was no yesterday.''Er ... er ... I think there was, master,' said Clodpool, struggling to his feet. 'Remember? We came up here and I cooked a meal, and had the rind off your sklang because you didn't want it.''I remember yesterday,' said Wen thoughtfully. 'But the memory is in my head now. Was yesterday real? Or is it only the memory that is real? Truly, yesterday I was not born.' Clodpool's face became a mask of agonized incomprehension. 'Dear stupid Clodpool, I have learned everything,' said Wen. 'In the cup of the hand there is no past, no future. There is only now. There is no time but the present. We have a great deal to do.' Clodpool hesitated. There was something new about his master. There was a glow in his eyes and, when he moved, there were strange silvery-blue lights in the air, like reflections from liquid mirrors. 'She has told me everything,' Wen went on. 'I know that time was made for men, not the other way round. I have learned how to shape it and bend it. I know how to make a moment last for ever, because it already has. And I can teach these skills even to you, Clodpool. I have heard the heartbeat of the universe. I know the answers to many questions. Ask me.' The apprentice gave him a bleary look. It was too early in the morning for it to be early in the morning. That was the only thing that he currently knew for sure. 'Er ... what does master want for breakfast?' he said. Wen looked down from their camp and across the snowfields and purple mountains to the golden daylight creating the world, and mused upon certain aspects of humanity. 'Ah,' he said. 'One of the difficult ones.'

For something to exist, it has to be observed. For something to exist, it has to have a position in time and space. And this explains why nine-tenths of the mass of the universe is unaccounted for. Nine-tenths of the universe is the knowledge of the position and direction of everything in the other tenth. Every atom has its biography, every star its file, every chemical exchange its equivalent of the inspector with a clipboard. It is unaccounted for because it is doing the accounting for the rest of it, and you cannot see the back of your own head. Nine-tenths of the universe, in fact, is the paperwork. And if you want the story, then remember that a story does not unwind. It weaves. Events that start in different places and different times all bear down on that one tiny point in space-time, which is the perfect moment... for that event.

Thank you Draco, Shamanka, Serloco and all for making this thread take on power.  Each of us is a little glow of here and now in the midst of darkness.  We are how the Nagual brings time and space together to accomplish a never ending present moment.
Draco, I Saw the two mirrors that is the consciousness of the Cosmos.  One mirror is the Third Attention reflecting the First and Second Attentions and the other mirror is the First Attention and Second Attention reflecting the Third Attention.  Our Assemblage Point is part of the Third Attention already and as it moves we witness all the worlds of the First and Second Attentions.

Cool, I saw the attentions as stones, however the dreaming attention was always a glow from the stone, when it is cracked open.

The idea we have the Third attention already a part of us really threw me.  I have a diagram I am going to post that will demonstrate what I am talking about.  One can conclude that we are all given the gift of the Third Attention but we have to convert the rest of our emanations to what our assemblage point is to gain it and that means.......
THE FIRE WITHIN (smoking hot-ouch!)

Cool, can't wait to read it.
I would just add that either you are in third attention or not and there can be no question bout in it.
