The Labyrinth of Penumbra
#26
Mothsdream, you speak of your dreams exactly like I would describe mine. Also, my family members are often with me during or at the start of these dreams. Thanks for your reply, the questions you posed for me to look at are very much in tune with the way I have been questioning myself about these dreams. As for the state of the water in them, it is ususally a large body of water, the ocean, and it is crystal clear so that I can see everything in it.

Death Defier, I am doing very well, good to hear from you. I knew there had to be some sort of connection to a realm, I appreciate the info.

I'm still new to a lot of the ideas from Castaneda's books, but this labyrinth of penumbra sounds a bit familiar.  When I was younger I would often find myself in a huge maze, non-lucid, wandering around.  Every time I had absolutely no idea how to find my way out of the maze and there was an intense sensation of hopelessness, I felt there was no chance of ever finding an exit from the maze.  That it was endless.  I haven't had one of those dreams since I have been able to become lucid on a regular basis, so I have never been able to look into it further.  I had almost forgotten about the dreams until I read this thread.
One quick question:  As I said, I am new to Castaneda... is "The Art of Dreaming" a good place to start?  I looked at the book store and saw numerous titles by Castaneda, although I didn't see "The Art of Dreaming" among them.

dreamgirl. i also withdrew from the forum. same reasons.

ive had these dreams in haiti, even before the earthquake. huge water getting ready to overflow. talking on the phone with my mother.

but i dont feel inorganic. in fact haiti is a nice place to dream, even with others i have met there and they have an understanding of voodoo - use of double body.

in tunnelshade's book the art of sexual energy, she and don juan cross to the otherworld, land of ancestors. the veil is described as spirit water. the column of will in front of you should look about the same. its watery quality but thin as magic.

Clear Chakra

This is the 11th chakra; it is located in the palm of the non-dominant hand. The essence of the clear chakra is truth and clarity. You could liken it to a mirror where you can clearly see yourself with all of your blemishes and shortcomings. With this chakra point's clear ray one can merge and collapse all of the universes. At this chakra, there is a sense of acuity and mental clarity that can be amped up by a factor of 10 x 10 x 10. This ray's signature is wholeness, completion, and perfection.

i get the feeling like a real encounter with the inorganics involves fear for one's soul, or abandon of one's basic self as a child looking for freedom. with power.

hopin' the best for you.

ps there's the earth's boost too. too valuable. ignore the inorganics. and dont ever lose your heart with them. they have none.

dreamgirl. youve seen this before too. just building a case:

The black chakra is the 12th chakra (or 13th if you count two aspects at the heart chakra). It is located approximately 6" below the feet, surrounding the outer layer of the aura like an envelope. It is the energy of the Tao, from which everything springs, like a fountain of water. The feminine aspect of the black chakra is the movement in, and the masculine aspect is the movement out. This ray is extremely powerful when used for psychic surgery; it allows you to get to the core of a problem quickly and easily. The black ray also embodies the universal androgynous element, or "neutral space." Buddha is an excellent historical example of the black ray energy.

Actually. I'm beginning to think that the water is the rolling force

Water in my opinion is a medium for dreamers and those who can shift AP's.

I can't believe that I haven't checked this thread. Another Spirit, thanks for your input, I know exactly what you are talking about, as lately I have been heavily involved in Qi Gong and thinking about the Tao. I get what you are saying and find it interesting that several of us are dreaming about Tsunami's. I hope that water is not the rolling force, that is what I consider an attacking force, just trying to weaken you. I am thinking these days is that water is the femine element, a sacred element of the "goddess" that is what is missing in this patriarical society, leading to an imbalance, causing us to not be "whole".

Sorry it took so long to reply here, I mistakenly did not see any new replies to this thread.

a medium

lol. is that a rivea corymbosa flower. lsa?

ah rolling force gives life and takes it. actually the ayahuasqueros joke that it is what kills you that makes you stronger.

tao says that it is a way of saying flow low, that low flow brings it close with the tao. when i see a river, i see that the force flows equally in the up and down river directions. medium.

in at least some tribes, native american men weren't allowed to drink water until a female brought it to them. respect.

i like the godess too. there is one in guys. kundalini calls it the earth chakra or goddess. it can be distracting. miss my girl.

then the second chakra of sexuality is considered the water element. close to will

also the upper heart chakra's element is considered water. center for decisions.

have nothing to say really. had a dream in a cave with the goddess. said something about the seven rivers of blood. i started counting but only got to three. i think that maybe it's a shape. like thats how water flows. indeed in mayan calendar seven is the number of water/reflection. so maybe the way to overcome all the seven gates is with a watery force.

any tips on using water as a medium would be cool

Hi Another Spirit,

The flower is Jimson Weed - or devil's weed. The picture I have of it is painted by Georgia O'Keeffe. It may be the same as what you mentioned. My only tip about using water as a medium is that I often have my best "glimpses" or "insights" while in the shower or bath, I jokingly named them PSE's when I was about 18 or so, it stands for psychic shower experiences - LOL. BTW, I have only seen three rivers myself - three has been a big number for me lately - in fact the last of the three images that came to me in dreaming was three giant pythons entangled with each other - they left some of their skin and oils on my bedroom floor in my dream and I was kinda creeped out when I woke up from that dream - I don't like large snakes, but with a little distance, I just associated the snakes with Kundalini. I felt better about that, but why three? Still puzzeled about that, but I get the feeling that the 3 is a reference to the three bodies we all posses to some extent.

thanks dreamgirl. incidentally 3 means action in that calendar. kundalini also identifies three energy channels primarily. or three attentions. im saying these are the parellel lines and the world between. its been on my way today.  and no jimson weed is not lsa.

The labyrinth I've seen in dreaming as a child.  I know it to be a network of a body of which the scouts/flyers ascend from, snag victims and then descend back to to wrap them up in a silky cocoon, suck dry of will and insert their own agenda.  Then these victims are set loose as new flyers with the same singular purpose.
I've recently witnessed the flyers' presence in people via agitation that I was causing them purposefully via stalking the antithesis of their intent.  Until then, I'd only imagined how they would look in other people, infested.  Before they only appeared to me as shrouds of gray overlaying people's normal state of brightness.  I actually saw them squirming recently.

SSilhouette, what do you mean by "stalking the antithesis of their intent"? Or should I say, how would one do this, as I am a dreamer and the stalking thing is something that perplexes me. Do you do this in dreaming or is this something you do when you are around the person?

Concerning the flyer, I witness it within (or around)myself, and attempts to free myself from it lead to a very uncomfortable state. I remember that my efforts at freeing myself from the flyer paid off once, a period of 2 weeks several years ago in which I felt totally transformed, I was calm, centered and extreemly peaceful, and many people around me noticed, and were a little confused by it as well - it seems others have a real difficulty in accepting a change in others. I have learned that the flyer comes back with a vengence after that, and it was at this point that I totally understood what it meant by being a warrior, it literally does mean facing a battle every single day - which is hard - and it makes me think of this character in the movie "The Matrix", who is sick of his warriors battle, and just wants to go back into his old sleeping state and "forget".

true dat warrior stuff dreamgirl. this guy was trying to direct me away from my straight path. with his feet he would tug and push at mine while im walking straight. with a fluid ap as in dreaming this is no problem, simply collect power. but i was stalking and going forward so his intent was opposed to mine. still i overcome. so funny waited until he had passed me, then ran up behind him under cover of wind and clapped his ap while he was on the phone. rofl ! he looked like hed seen a ghost so funny...

mothsdream wrote:thank you for proving my point, persyd: you like to tell others what their problems are and you seem to think that you have the right to call your own opinion the truth. when the same treatment is applied to you, you obviously don't like it either. you are predictable, persyd, with the temperament of a spoiled child
who throws tantrums when she feels slighted. you prefer to be ruthless
because you think it is the hallmark of a warrior. you forget to
balance yourself and to learn to be patient.
your hotheadedness leads you to misunderstand things easily. i do not hate you, nor do i wish you dead. i certainly don't like you, nor do i respect you, but indeed i can still learn from you. we can all learn from everyone. it's your own shortcoming that you seem to feel "learning" implies that one has to kneel at another's feet and receive their teachings as truth. there are many kinds of learning. isn't mediation learning? isn't studying human interaction learning? i seem to have offended you by not addressing some unsolicited advice you apparently directed at me when you know nothing about me. the fact is, i wasn't even talking to you when you became upset. this is an open forum, not just your own soapbox.
i certainly won't pm you anymore - i only did it in an attempt to
answer lingering questions you have, and to keep the thread clear of
more of our argument. it seems you prefer an audience. what a surprise.
i'll leave it like this: if you have questions and you'd like to clear them up and reconcile, i'm happy to discuss them with you over pm - just to keep the forum clutter-free. consider this an attempt to create an accord with you.
I have no idea what so ever where you grew up, but i give a little hint: people that grew up in eastern Europe do not have tantrums, not even as children. They tend to mature faster then that.
PS: something are better left the way they are. Some should be changed by those that can do it, because power is given and grown by those that earned it not by those that willed it.

Not a social visit, and you think this will be the year, I got that from your Oracle comment. Maybe, all things are pointing with solar tips. We shall see, no warning I need for I have been ready for awhile now. Still you may be the harbringer but rudeness will not be accepted even if it roles off your demeanor's touch. Thus corral yourself if you seek to align here with us.
