This here is the place to drop the ego, its one of the tasks. The forum is the hunting ground for power in that sense, speaking for myself of course. And not just the forum, the tonal,... work, home and family, all that provides fertile ground to stalk ego till ego is no more. The power we gain is for here. This is my understanding.

Wow, what a great thread! Still catching up on what is going on here, so doing my duty and getting through the old posts. This feels sappy, but I really feel such a kinship with you all here, and I don't EVER say that.. I have not felt it before in other parts of this site, I do have some close associations some members of the dreaming groups i was in, but never to all in a group before.



This topic started about the FI, your experiences with it are just like mine, and that made me feel good (and not so alone). Tiffany posed a question about inner silence and when we were best able to turn it off, like you all, it is much easier to see it and turn it off during stress, if I am happy I will just run away with it.



I loved the topic about FI in animals, and want you to know that I love black cats, I always have, sadly mine was killed by a car about a year and a half ago, but I have a new cat now, but not black. I guess that makes me a witch ha ha. My black lab i believe is my protector, I know that sounds kinda nuts, but he is, and his name is Carlos (lol).



Dan, you mentioned your brother is a triple Leo, does that mean his sun,moon and ascendant is in Leo? This stood out to me because I am a triple Snake (of the Chinese zodiac). I knew I was born in the snake year, and I wanted to be balanced and have other aspects to provide that balance, but a friend who is knowledgeable about this type of thing looked up my birth time and all and yes, I was born in the hour and day of the snake as well as the year. Yikes! I love astrology and gleaned that Andrew is a Leo from a post in this thread. I am a Gemini with a Cancer Moon and Virgo rising. What is everyone else?



Dan, also, your coming out, it is not even an issue for me. In fact it ought to make dreaming with you even easier for me. It is kinda funny, but when I start to become lucid in dreaming I am typically a little confused, trying to get my barrings. As that starts to happen, when I have dreamed with NLW, MS, SHM and one time Lujan (but he was stalking me in my dream, I was not trying to dream with him), well, the first thing I do is kiss them. I know, kinda embarrassing.

Yeah...my brother is a triple Leo (moon, sun, ascendant).....he is also born in the year of the cock.       I am born in the year of the dog but I do not know my other dimensions on Chinese.   Western - Scorpio sun, Capricorn moon, Cancer ascendnt.

So an air sign joins our mix....NLW is air a well...Aquarious.    We have all the elements covered now..LOL   I, of course, the emotional Scorpio - water sign.  Tiffany is earth, and Andrew is fire.....

Jake you were aware at very young age of having sorcery ability. This was before losing your human form even, and you said even that you used to to sort of revenge until you realized you could really hurt others with your power. I was wondering, why are some people born with this gift, even before their intent has been tempered by the nagual spirit? And why are others on the warrior path not exhibiting such powers?

To answer is that there magical beings born from the Eagles Rule. Mutatations of the spirit. Gifts if you really want to call them such are often at a price. A nagual is born with a link to the spirit thus can connect with all things. This link is powerful but also has to be mastered .

One must learn to ask in order to recieve an answer. The rule creates the nagual because it must have new awareness and without such mutations the human species would falter and the Eagle would be just eating another animal's awareness. The nagual must find, identify and create other nagual beings to satisfy the rule and allow itself a chance for freedom.

Other nagual beings on the path should be able to perform sorcery, but it is based on their ability to achieve inner silence and mastering their foreign installation . If they believe they cannot then they cannot. Lujan is like this as he loses when he faces his flyer. Have you ever intended sorcery? Make a object move without touching it? Make a person trip or fall? Change a stop light? Freeze time? It doesn't have to be like the X-Men with fireballs and rays. The most powerful act you can do is to avoid death! A sidestep avoiding a bullet, a turn just in time to avoid a accident, a thought to not enter a building that will burn. These are everyday examples of true power.

20 or so years go I use to be able to clear a room by sending my intent to make everyone leave.   At that time, I knew I was making everyone leave, but I did not know I was performing sorcery.   It was later that I discovered this path to spirit.   When I was younger, I was often depressed and alone.  It seems I was more powerful then, in terms of trying to control others.    The negative feelings I had were easily manipulated.   Now that I am not consumed with melancholy, I look at sorcery differently.  I do not need to control others, control the elements, or control anything.......by spreading light instead of mastering others, I am able to perform true sorcery.  It is much greater to spread joy and light to others, then to use sorcery for any other means.   I feel greater power in silent knowing, then when I forced people to leave a room with my energy.   I do not need proof to know that sorcery is real, by performing tricks.   But controlled folly is a means to ensure we end up where we need to be.    I honestly have to say, I have not been this clear with my intent, ever.  I attribute this to every one here....first and foremost in FF, but all who post here in the nagual forums.   
I want to show my gratitude to Jake, he has always been a great teacher and leader.   His energy is what binds us.  His double has shown me true sorcery many times over.

Thanks Dan and I am like that in that as I grew older I didn't need to make petty sorcery but instead to use it as a warrior.

I did know what you ment Tiffany....I was noticing that even before I was on the path of a warrior, I knew I could use my energy to control outcomes. So maybe I was born with this mutation but it took time to develop it the correct way. I mean, without any knowledge of this path, spirit allowed me to use sorcery in the tonal and in dreaming. When I was a child, I had the most lucid dreams, I was able to enter a dream at will and be lucid, and I had many out of body experiences. This was before I read that these things were possible.

Glad you knew what I meant, the point was not about petty tricks, but simply the ability to use power, which is a significant differance in the lives of humans. If one uses it for personal gain, well they get trapped in a way probably, the nagual path is freedom, so helping other warriors, thus helping free oneself. Still, power has to be used one way or another to set one apart from most people and how they perceive reality.

yep - I was trying to answer the question as to possibly being born with the ability......before we are aware of the path of the warrior.

Using power can effect one's double. Power is power and can be used by the warrior or his double. There comes after burning from within that the double takes over. The double monitors the warrior and will act with power in a emergency or when summoned by a skilled sorcerer . I can through my double aid other warriors or in person but when there is distance then I rely on my double to perform my intent.
