the great thing about kundalini yogis is that any good one does sadhana from 4am-6:30am and if you contact a kundalini yogi and ask they will let you join them for free every single day
usually they will let you take one class for free to sample it in the afternoon/evenings then you can do sadhana knowing some of the stuff
sadhana literally means - the goal
40 days of sadhana produces an intense state of enlightenment! It literally brings you to the goal of all spiritual practice.
Whats funny about our yoga teacher is he is extremely innovative and does not stick to the book often creating and improvising new things on the spot like any goood/real musician would do.
Some teachers are all by the book and this rigidity can actually be located on the spine.
In my experience the yoga definitely and quickly manifests spirit directly into the body. So if one is not open to the spirit they will be turned off by the yoga. It can be rather invasive. All the magical passes are hit as well through the various breathe movements.

I probably should take up Yoga...... but as bad as it sounds very rarely do I have the time...... I'm only just squeezing in Gym time early ours of the morning (7am) before college. Perhaps the gym does evening classes I can slip into.
I really need greater control of my body........ and a little flexibility wouldn't hurt either."I wield the gun. I will also determine it's aim. I will put the ammo into the magazine, pull the slide, and even undo the saftey. But ... what will kill them is your intent."

yoga is funny sometimes we breathe in crazy off sync patterns that throw each other off balance but then we inevitably come back stronger in perfect sync

last night i had my 3 hour kundalini workshop.....
huiiiiiii......
nice thing....a little hard for someone stiff like me...but the restingphases between the asanas were great the last 3 times i nearly fell asleep..and in the last one i did fall asleep...i saw the room...and looked at the clock on the wall and thought about how long im lying or something like that..i watched the clock..then the theacher started singing again and i woke up, i was quite confused if i was awake or not...then i looked at the wall where i saw the clock..but there was no clock...
anyway... i felt strange , it was a nice experience...
im thinking about if can manage it to join a hatha-yoga class...because the teacher wont teach kundalini yoga loosly to a beginner or someone who wont live it truly..
howdy..

its odd
I learn from one of the most experrienced kundalini yogis around, 35 years experienced, taught by the father of kundlaini yoga in the west, he teaches it so gently and powerfully it is available to absolutely anyone.
He did leave old associations behind when they became dogmatic, or judgemental. i.e. some sikhs won't talk to you about things spiritual if your not wearing a turban, but this man is open to all beings.
So don't let some facilitators stubborness daunt you!

noooooooooo that wont daunt me...
and i wont call it stubbornness...its his decision...he sais that for personal reasons..he dont want to teach something that intense, to somone who isnt willed to practise 2-3 hours the day, or isnt willed to adjust his life to these intense teachings...
i dont think hes unfair or fussy....
ok..this opinion might also be something improved by his yoga"assiociaton"...but...i could understand that a teacher wants his students to be "true" and really intrested..
but doesnt matter..

Hi,
I have recently started some beginner course in yoga, but I had to quit it, because I'm in such a lack of time that I can't dedicate few hours a week for going somewhere to practice yoga. I went few times, but I have to work and study so much that I had to quit.
I'm now concentrated on getting as better possible grade for degree on university, so that I can go to postgraduate study. I work because I have to pay bills, rent etc.., and as I am a student, my salary is not big, and to earn extra money I give instructions in math, physics...
So, I hardly find time to climb this last period.
I remembered some basic exercises in yoga, together with proper breathing and I do them about half an hour each day.
I wonder, since I truly have no time now to obtain curses, is there possibility to learn how to practice yoga over internet? Are there some good and checked sites available and has anyone got an experience in that?
Thanks allot

Hey Castor.
Good to hear that you are practising each day. I've been doing lessons the past four weeks.. Good fun - once again.
I love the purification that one experiences through yoga - the sweat, and sense of release.
I bought myself a yoga mat this week, and have been practising the salutes to the sun at home. It really does seem to wake me up, and get my energy flowing..
In the past I tried to use the internet, and perhaps occasionally I like to look at outlines of practise just to go over things, but I think I like the idea of having a teacher there in person, to point out little things I may otherwise not notice.
Maybe someone else has suggestions?
Nick

Hi,
I have started to attend a course in Breathing. It is about improving breathing in Yoga, Meditation and every day's life.
Since long ago I have noticed that in some occasions I'm not breathing well, so I think this course could help me.
I was surprised by seeing how powerful breath can be.

Zitter,
That is great!!
Did you do Ujjayi pranayama breathing? What a great thing! I find it good for entering dreaming and to calm down anxiety when entering it.

Hey Zitter,
I'm sure you'll do that Ujjayi breathing. It is breathing like in deep sleep statement.
I agree with you, I have also never thought that breathing could affect me that way.
It is amazing..!
All this time I missed something sometimes while meditating, falling asleep...now I know what; in some occasions I didn't breathe properly.
Good luck,
Castor

Doing Yoga is great thing and I have learned some strong meditations and experienced strange things, strange but beautiful.
We did that Sudarshan Kriya ..what a good thing!
Now I do it every day, sometimes two times a day. I think it can be a great recapitulation method
Herba, you seem to know allot about Yoga..For how long have you been practicing it?
All best,
Castor

About a year.
I love yoga. It makes me laugh and feel good and disciplined and relaxed.
You guys ever here of angstrom gold?
It is a perfected mineral supplement.
Interesting enough gold is the lucid dreaming mineral. Its vibrations is amazing.
When I take it before bed(this effect I am noticing heavily now after taking an 11-mineral angstrom supplement program for voer a week) I close my eyes and began having the most amazing and vivid surrealistic experiences in the frontal lobe of my brain. It is like the gold plays across my eyes and forms into hundreds of intrinsic patterns. Last night I did not go to sleep after I took my night angatrom supplements and after awhile everything was glowing and scintilating and simply amazing.
Not every person has this mineral in their body so it does truly have an amazing effect on lucid dreaming!

In the 19th of february I recieve certification as a kundalini yoga instructor.
Naturally this training course has taught me a wealth of highly valuable skills!
If anyone has any questions or needs some guidance in yoga I would be more than happy to help on any level(forums, email, PM's, phone, in person).
I love yoga and raw foodism so much I have very much dedicated my existence to it.
It is the best stuff ever!
Everything about yoga and raw foodism is absolutely amazing and on the very cutting edge of where reality currently resides.
It is a neverending source of spiritual transformation.
I am so blessed to know people like those in the ravenfield who have a true interest in this spiritual existence!
So this will just keep on going.
No hurry or rush.
I will always be around to help or point out some good yogic techniques that I have found work, at least for me, in life!
To resolve any curiosity about the extent of my training it has been going on for nearly ten months now. One weekend a month I go on a retreat/workshop and do constant yoga and spiritual transformational practices and teach classes and gain experience and experience my core self.
I get totally high and empowered off raw foods, gain absolutely invaluable knowledge, and continue my practice tell the next weekend keeping up correnspondence with various yogis and raw foodist coaches and practices. I have recived numerous teachings from a handfull of kundalini yoga instructors and sikhs as well as aryuvedic training and knowledge. This is some dense stuff! So fun too. Although the yoga sometimes kicks my ass! Haha!
Peace and blessings for now I have outwinded myself.

Herba,
It is great that you live Yoga the way you do, and it is great that you are becoming an instructor.
I personally think that Yoga of body and spirit is a good way to reach that enlightened state.
You start with Yoga Asana, Hata Yoga, doing body exercises and in fact you prepare body for meditation, which is an excellent thing, I think.
And breathing is such a powerful powerful thing!
I haven't yet done any Kundalini Yoga, but in future I intend to.
Now I'm doing breathing techniques (Ujjayi pranayama, three point breathing...) and Kriyas (action in breath).
In that all I combine meditations and I must say that I feel great and that doing Yoga and certain recapitulation techniques have made me to reduce bad habits to a minimum and to empower dreaming.
I'm sure I'll have many questions about Kundalini Yoga in future .
Stay well and healthy!
Castor

Kundalini yoga rocks
since
if your happy enough to wake up at 4am
and people practicing kundalini yoga nearby
will hold free open yoga sadhana every morning!
I used to go but got sick of driving so do my own daily practice
Lately I have had a daily habit of doing a basic spinal series, a sex energy transformation set, and throwing in some pranayama, meditation, navel and throat stuff.
Ocasionally I do some ashtanga yoga.
I started supplementing my body with sulfur from a source known as MSM.
My flexibility jumped up about 20% automatically. Incredible what minerals can do.
People can cure suposedly uncurable diseases using these tehcnologies and do so everyday!
